The Last 8 Games

Post#1 » by streetballdude » Mon Mar 31, 2014 6:50 am

Here's our last eight:

L.A - L
Portland - W
Oklahoma - W
New Orleans W
San Antonio L
Dallas L
Memphis
Sacramento

What are you guys predicting? I'm feeling pretty confident with saying that we'll only have two losses (OKC and Memphis).

5-3 is optimistic one. (Portland, New Orleans, Spurs, Dallas, Sacramento)
4-4 is realistic one. (Portland, New Orleans, Dallas, Sacramento)
3-5 is pessimistic one. (New Orleans, Dallas, Sacramento)

conclusion is we must win the Mavericks game.

The Last 8 Games

I don't wanna predict the games but I feel we will be in the playoffs when it's all said and done.

Keep in mind, Dallas, GS, Memphis have to win their games too.

How is he screwed? His job gets easier if we don't make it. Our own pick moves up 7 spots (at least).

We'll need to win 4 of them, at least, including the Dallas and Memphis games.

That's gonna be really tough. This last loss hurt a lot.

We can compete with clippers and Portland.

They are usually good games.
I still think we have the clippers beat.
Barnes had to go Gerald green mode and the game after that griffin had 20+ in the 1st Q.

A's over Royals. Lester and experience will prove that he's worth the trade.

Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

Also, not playing them at The Staples Center helps a lot here and Bledsoe's back of course.

Does 4-4 (48-34) get us in do you reckon?

Yeah, those games vs Dallas and Memphis will be crucial.

Looks like we'll finish off the season by seeing how well our guys can handle the pressure

I think 2 - 6. Frye is worn down and is killing us out there. Dragic is wearing down, it's been far too long without a break for him. He can't even stay in front of Kendall Marshall right now but three months ago he could make it tough on all but the quickest of the point guards. He and Bledsoe have yet to figure out how to play together and that's not likely to happen till the offseason. The Morri, Green, Plumlee and Tucker are all showing signs of having played far more minutes than they're used to.

This team has greatly overachieved but I just don't think it will be enough to make the playoffs. Maybe if we had a wheelbarrow and a holocaust cloak we'd have a chance but we just don't have the assets IMO.

his first big boy major decision, he messed it up. (acquiring gasol was supposed to be a gimme. a gm like morey or presti would have no problem getting it done using okafor and 1 late pick or even throw in len).

his second big boy decision, if the suns dont make the playoffs is what to do with the team. do you build on this, or blow it up for the 2nd consecutive season. the guy will not last next season if he doesnt blow it up!

I'll be optomistic

L.A - W
Portland - W
Oklahoma - L
New Orleans - W
San Antonio - W
Dallas - L
Memphis - W
Sacramento - W

This lakers loss will fuel the team to go crazy out there against the teams with the better records, we always play to our competition and we have played our best games against the best competition I see no reason it won't continue. It seems like the team has trouble beating the worst teams but always comes to play against the big boys (that one warriors game excluded)

We match up well with these teams except for Memphis but I think Bledsoe will tip the scales in our favor, they have only beat us in very close games and at home I think we can take them.
