Play the Lottery

Post#1 » by Sunsdeuce » Tue Apr 22, 2014 8:40 pm

Here is your chance to see if you can get the suns the first pick on the first try.
Took me 15 tries but got the suns the 1st pick.

This lucky guy got it on the first try.

Just hit the button about 4 or 5 times and got the Suns getting Wiggins #1. IT IS MEANT TO BE!!!!! But yeah, Zach LaVine is there at #14 for us still.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

The crazy thing is if we win the lottery we gain an extra pick. Minnsota would give us their pick. That would be mindblowing.

A's over Royals. Lester and experience will prove that he's worth the trade.

Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

Got the 2nd when I played. Perfect scenario as I'd rather Parker over Wiggins anyways/

But behind closed doors, it could be higher. Come on Adam Silver! Reward the team that didn't tank!

After about 50 tries, I got the Suns with the third pick and taking Embiid. I'm guessing if we did get third there would be a decent chance Embiid goes in the top 2 and we get a wing player, depending on who is ahead of us.

I did this for roughly 10 straight minutes and Suns were 14th every single time. My first try I got Lakers with the first pick. I knew it was going to be sh*t from the get go...

I'm pretty sure and hoping you're just kidding, but just in case you or some others think lottery shenanigans can happen...it's not possible. Behind the closed doors all the team reps patiently and boringly watch the random number combinations come up. Watch-

Bulls were the ninth slot at a 1.7% to win. In 1993 Orlando (11th worst record) won the first spot with a 1.5% chance. I haven't researched top three spots yet though, only number one picks.

The Suns will have 5 number combinations for the lottery. I believe that estimates to about less than a 2 percent chance of getting a top three selection.

Is Zach LaVine Gerald Green in disguise?

LaVine is an explosive combo guard -- both an incredible athlete and a polished scorer. He needs to add strength, and he sometimes focuses too much on scoring instead of distributing the ball

I am. I'm just playing off of the idea some people have that Cleveland (Lebron leaving), Chicago (The Hometown Kid) and New Orleans (Looking for an owner) were gifted their top picks in the last 6 years.

EDIT: By the way, I'd totally watch that process with the owners sitting there waiting to see the results. They each have cards with the numbers their team needs to win the pick. It would be like bingo only the owners are much more invested. First number: 12. 5 team owners immediately groan because they know their eliminated. Second number: 5. A few more groans, a few become wide-eyed as their half way to the top pick. Third number: 7. All of a sudden the 2 or 3 owners with possible combinations are on the edge of their seats. Last number: 14. The owner who won is visibly elated that his team with the 2.6% (I don't really know the percentage breakdown) lands the top pick. The owner at the 3rd best chance hopes he'll leapfrog 1 and 2 for the 2nd pick as the process begins again.
