Well if you just voted I could guess. But this is an interesting one because in the first and second one Payton was popular, but then the statistics were posted today, by Gaspar, who was high on Payton.

It will be interesting to look back on this draft in 10 years and see how things panned out. Of course people will look back in one year and make conclusions despite the fact a great player may be on the bench on a great team and will flourish a little later.

MCW and Oladipo look like the best guy from the last draft, but Len and Noel haven't really gotten a chance to show much, if anything yet. And many others I'm sure. Guys that get drafted by crappy teams of course will look better early.

Payton ranks better than Anderson in some and in others he is close to him in those statistics.

More bust potential but also more star potential and a defined position in the NBA.

Easy pick Payton. Unfortunately the poll at #14 was terrible and we should have Payton at 14 and Anderson at 18.

Yeah, but he really needs to be surrounded by shooters. He is/was good at getting to the rim in the Sun Belt but when he shoots 61% from the line, what's to stop teams from just hammering him and putting him at the line?

I know people say he can learn how to shoot, but that makes a lot more sense when you are a freshman as opposed to coming out after your junior year. I'm not sure he is EVER going to be able to shoot THAT well, if he had that much trouble shooting in the Sun Belt.

Here is a decent article/breakdown on him (as well as some interesting comments).

Thanks for coordinating this and for the patience for each of our picks as everyone chimed in. It's pretty obvious that we have some major splits on the Suns board in opinions on prospects, but this is an interesting exercise nonetheless.
