Iman Shumpert

Looks like the knicks might be shopping Shumpert for a pick. He's cheap, young, and plays defense. Do I smell a PJ Tucker replacement? :)

I like Iman Shumpert's game, but I would only trade our 27th pick for him. He's gonna be a in contract year, so he's gonna want some burn time, and I think he might play a little selfish because of that. We already have to give Markieff a bigger salary, I think Marcus will get the qualifying offer, I don't see us extending him.
Right now his trade value is low, so it's a perfect time to buy in, I'd even give up our 2nd round pick to go with the 27th. ;)

I don't think he is worth a first

For one thing, where Mike D and Robert Sarver screwed up before was trading picks for cash. These first round picks are cost certainty cheap contracts

Second - he hasn't been good

Third - I say use the 27 on a stash player

If the Knicks want the Minnesota conditional picks - fine

That ship already sailed. Shumpert is worth a second rounder at best. Knicks are just desperate right now. But I think that Shumperts value is at all time low.

BUT....good luck to the knicks.

I like Iman Shumpert. He has question marks health wise but he is a top defender and his offense is underrated, imo.

27th pick for him looks like a no-brainer to me.

i think the kid is terrible. He's shown no improvement over his first 3 seasons in the league. His FG% has gone down every year, and last season he shot a miserable 38% from floor and 33% from beyond the arc.

I'll say this again....if he wasnt on the Knicks we'd have no idea who this kid is and wouldnt even be talking about a 2nd rounder for him. He reminds me of Renaldo Balkman. Hyped up to no end by Knicks fans even though he has shown nothing to warrant it.

I wouldn't touch shumpert for the the 27th pick.
He's in a contract year so if your going to trade for him you have to resign him.
All that money the following year is going at dragic let's be real

So shumpert would become a rental.
Also if he replaced tucker I hope he is a beast on the boards because suns suck at that and PJ makes it watchable at least

A's over Royals. Lester and experience will prove that he's worth the trade.

Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

I think his stats were low last season because of a crappy roster that has no veterans with leadership skills. Their team had no chemistry at all. I wouldn't mind taking a gamble on him, and I didn't realize his corner three has improved. After a closer look though, I'm not sure he is all there mentality towards the game of basketball, he may be sidetracked with NY living, or whatever else, maybe a change of scenery will improve his game and cause for him to regain focus if not I could see him being out of the league or not getting a bigger salary.

Last year at this time most of them wouldn't even trade Shumpert for Dragic.

#27 is too much for Shumpert
but he'd be a valuable piece for our team
maybe a 2nd+player

Goodwin is better than Shumpert and younger and on longer contract.
