Just saw this on the wiretaps...had missed it...and was going to use the exact same smilie. This makes my day. GREAT signing and deal and avoids RFA. When is the last time we gave an extension?

Extremely happy about this.

The most underappreciated Sun by a long shot. Glad the FO doesn't feel the same way.

Nice contract ... would be even better if TJ turns in all-star-like numbers which I believe he is capable of doing. Could eventually be a contract like Steph Curry got when he resigned as a RFA with GSW .. one of the highest value per dollar spent.

Warren starts if McDonough thinks he's worth $13m.

I don't think you pay a bench player that on an early deal, and project spending 40% of cap on one position.

We know they talk about Chriss at C, so Jackson would play PF long term.

I'm really happy to see we extended TJ. That contract is excellent value for him, especially if he can play an entire season like he did before the mystery injury and after the all star break.

As comparison he'd be 5th or 6th highest paid on GSW and Cleveland.

Good value for us.

I hope Warren's able to stay healthy. He's missed tons of games since being drafted.

Improving his range to the 3pt line would be nice too.

I've been RIP GIRLFRIENDING it since the beginning with my dude. Even when I'd go on diets I'd chant RIP GIRLFRIEND on the treadmill, while boiling eggs, whatever.

No harder working dude in the country than this guy in college. You can throw out the career trajectory curve with this guy. Hes going to be an absolutely lethal scorer over the course of this contract.

TONY BUCKETS JUNIOR!

JUST HOPE HE STAY MARRY TO THE GAME #RIPGIRLFRIEND

This is why you don't re-sign Alex Len. It's nice to know we've got TJ long-term.
Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Opinion is really split on the T&T board. I guess I should have expected it. Either way, I still think it's an excellent deal for TJ. His current level of production at face value would make $12.5m a year look like a slight overpay but considering the inconsistent playing time (due to injury, Hornacek early on) and with room to improve, I think it's very reasonable. Considering also the kinda deal Wiggins is likely to get, I do think we're getting more value per dollar spent here. Would I prefer Wiggins over Warren if money wasn't a factor? Absoulutely, but when Wiggins is likely to get almost 3x as much as Warren, it's not hard to see why this deal is something to be excited about.

Love the Warren contract. 4/50 is a steal imo. :)
