I guess I'm the only one who doesn't want Spencer Hawes or Channing Frye on this team. Again, only if the Suns magically get Lebron I would be cool with.

I am okay with them if they show up later and a reduced rate. I still think the team needs a big time star and if you lose Frye or Hawes - oh well.

Seriously, that was a perfect example of why he is such a lottery bust. Just the tweet itself makes him look el stupido!!! I'm sooooo glad he is no longer associated with the suns.

I would pass on Hawes and Frye. We should be going after defensive minded players and a star. The last thing this team needs is more role players who only play on the offensive end. I would like the Suns to pick up Ed Davis. He is a young power forward, who is athletic and rebounds, exactly what this team could use.

Can't have Lakers completely sucking next season.... Their pick is top 5 protected.
I'm hoping they resign Gasol at 10+ million a year or atleast pickup a decent FA to help Kobe get Lakers to 35~40 wins.

From everything I read. They are shooting for 2015 to be a player in the trade/free agent market. So they are fully expecting to be averge/below average. They want the majority of the signings this year on one year deals.

Agreed on Gasol. But a few less wins for them - I'd like the pick to be closer to 6 (30-32 wins) than 12 (40 wins).

Would the reason for looking at Hawes be for a replacement due to a trade? Dragic and Len for Paul George works under the cap. Not advocating. Just sayin.

lakers with Kobe, Carmelo, Pau and as somebody called their bench, the CBA - are not going to be very good. If its about winning, Pau should go to OKC and Carmelo to the Bulls. But the Lakers need to be decent enough to not suck. And if Kobe plays, his ego won't allow it.
As if this were Stern, I know if the Lakers were outside the top 5, they would get the ping pong balls. Maybe with Silver, its different. So, just to be safe, this pick can go to Minnesota thank you very much!

Here is a question for all of you. There is conjecture that LeBron wants a 1-2 year contract. Assume its a 1 year guaranteed and 1 yr player option.
The premise is a one year out so he can look at NYK next year. I do not believe there is any thing to this. I do not believe Miami will go down that path, because it is only delaying the inevitable rebuild with Lebron bolting the Heat because it is not competitive for a championship.
Do you think the Suns would do such a contact? Knowing you might only have him for a year?

it's really not fair to Frye to compare his defense to Hawes'
hawes is so bad

For sure. 1 year of LeBron > 0 years of LeBron

@ESPNSteinLine: Name of one target Miami is trying to secure for LeBron has emerged: Sources say Heat making push for perimeter specialist Anthony Morrow
@ESPNSteinLine: Message here is Heat are chasing realistic targets to fit in around LeBron, Wade and Bosh. Never had a real shot at the Lowrys and Gortats
Yeah, well those "realistic targets" aren't going to do the trick. Try as they might, the media won't be able to keep LeBron in Miami.
