Archive footage of GREAT Suns moments

Post#1 » by bwgood77 » Fri Jul 4, 2014 7:04 pm

Post the videos here! Here was a MAJOR breakthrough for KJ in his third year in the league leading the Suns.

And to add to that, this was one of the last times Phoenix, along with Hornacek, trumped all Pat Riley could do, and knocked them out, just like we are hopefully going to do this next week.

drk3351's breakdown of Suns/Warriors 94 where Barkley scored 56 (to try and keep all these videos in one thread)

These were the dark days with Turkoglu, Warrick, and Childress, but dropping 22 threes against the lakers was exciting to watch.

Funny thing about that year is that we took the Spurs to 6 games in the first round, as an 8 seed, and they ended up winning the whole thing. Our team wasn't that great (just 3 games over .500). Every one of the Spurs series that year went six. Our two wins came on that buzzer beater and I think an Amare buzzer beater in the other one.

Wow that's crazy. I'm glad you did. It's the only one I've ever found of it.

Have this game on my PC. I uploaded the famous Amare three as well. Crazy, crazy game, Robinson and Duncan bricked like 8 free throws in the clutch.

No, no Amare buzzer happened. It was close (i think it was Game 4), and Jake the Snake Voskuhl got a clutch basket in the end.

The clutch Amare basket that you're talkin about was in the same game as the Marbury buzzer, as I mentioned before. Here it is. Just look at Marbury's face after Stoudemire made the three... priceless.

Wow, two banked in 3s in the same game, one by Stoudemire...one to put into OT and one to win? They got us back five or six years later with the Duncan/Finley 3s to pretty much do the same thing.

The way we came in the 4th qtr and OT. Nash was a God that game...
