Oh god, are we trying to break some kind of record on offseason threads?
Just move on to pre-season thread already

Yeah...... i gave up. When presenting him with facts and factual numbers he continued to deny what was right in front of his eyes and snowball over great posts to argue his point of view that because of the Wolves, the Suns bent over and took it up the rectal cavity from Bledsoe.

Not only is his basketball analysis garbage, he also comes off as a condescending tool. I lol'd when he came at Kerrsed.

I just realized that we paid Bledsoe DOUBLE what we paid IT. Bledsoe way better defender but IT is the way better shooter and also little more efficient I believe.
IT lost over $30M because he's 3 inches shorter...damn.

Yep. Amazing that we were able to lock up a 20 and 6 PG for the price we did. Total bargain, and dude feels like he has a lot to prove.
I think beyond the heigh, the reason we paid so much more for Bled than IT2 is that Bledsoe's ceiling is viewed to be much higher.

Tomorrow's media day will be interesting. Want to see how Bledsoe answers questions about his free agency.

Funny how he uses that NBA article as "proof" for his argument:
http://www.nba.com/2014/news/features/d ... index.htmlIt's like he didn't even read it himself. But first off, he touts the article as "facts", which that in and of itself is hilarious. Second, did he not read the quotes from the article listed here?
"Bledsoe was left with few options if he and the team couldn't agree on a deal. All that was left was signing the one-year, $3.7 million qualifying offer which would have made him an unrestricted free agent next summer, but run the risk of having nothing further guaranteed if he'd suffered an injury this coming season. While some teams had expressed interest in doing a sign-and-trade with Phoenix for Bledsoe, none of their offers impressed the Suns enough to pull the trigger."
"$14 million per year for a player who's likely entering the prime of his career is a fair compromise, both for the Suns and Bledsoe." (
Yet somehow, the SUNS 'caved', yet Bledsoe didn't 'cave"? In fact, Bledsoe's side 'caved' more by coming down by $2.8M per, while the Suns only came up $2M per)
"Phoenix strengthened its backcourt further (and also got some insurance in case it couldn't re-sign Bledsoe) by getting guard Isaiah Thomas from Sacramento in a sign-and-trade deal in July."
So the Suns, in being fully prepared for the potential of not re-signing EB 'caved' somehow? Let's really look at the facts:
Suns had a back-up plan if EB didn't sign. EB? His back up plan was to take $3.7M for a year.
The Suns came up less from their offer than EB came down from his.

3 inches mean a lot. Ask any male in the adult movie industry...

If you are the only buyer for a certain commodity, who's been turned down on his initial offer (insanely overgenerous one), and over a long period of time noone wants to pay ANYTHING for that commodity, the next time you contact the seller the price goes DOWN, not up. And by down i mean down from 12M/year, NOT FROM 18M. This is also called common sense and usually takes a lower double digit IQ to be understood.
Saying Bledsoe was the real victim for taking 4 times his worth is...."out of the box", to put it mildly.

Who in the world is portraying Bledsoe as a victim? Bledsoe is not a victim and the Suns did not cave. It was high but fair deal if Eric stays healthy.

Robert sarver regrets letting joe johnson go per wiretap
I think Sarver has grown quite a bit as a owner

I hope Sarver regrets offering the $5/$45mil that we COULD have kept him with. Offering to match the max contract Johnson got from the Hawks a year later would have been a huge mistake
