43-45 and hoping I get proven wrong. Was gonna go for .500 but I wanted to let a little shred of optimism shine through at least.

54. I said 33 last year when everyone else here was saying around 20... We'll see. If we get a decent big in a deal it could even be higher.

46-48. I think we'll be pretty close to last year's total. Some guys will improve (Len, EB), some will come back down to earth (Plumlee, Green). Plus, the West is going to be as, if not more, tough as last year. I just hop that total will be enough to get us in as the 8th seed. This team could use this year to get some experience in the Playoffs, with the hopes that we are serious contenders in a couple of years.

Last year's poll...
viewtopic.php?f=27&t=1270079
...it was oddly posted in August and closed well before the season started. In this prediction thread, Frank Lee was the best with the tea leaves.

Some quotes/#s-

rsavaj- 25 wins, +/- 3
TASTIC- 24-58
Frank Lee- 41 wins.... I'm all in with the Dragon
SUN- 30+
BurningHeart- a good shot to win 30-35 games
RunSunRun- somewhere between 15-25 wins
SunsReadyToRoll- I'm going to predict a 32-50
Phystic- 26-30 wins I think
Fischella- probably 5th worst record in the league in my mind
Zero Tolerance- 24 wins
sunstrooper- 37-45
DRK- 21-25 wins is a realistic expectation
i505- I'll wager on 28-54

43-45 is my guess.

- Lack of interior presence will be a major factor unless Plumlee and especially Len improve dramatically.
- West is (even more) stacked.

49-33 and an 8th seed.

I don't see a ton of injuries this season. Dragic will average around 22 ppg, Bledsoe will also up his game and average 19 ppg, Plumlee will have an up and down year and trade talks will loom, Tucker will be a great lock down defender, Markieff will improve and surprise more people than last year. Suns will have a top 5 bench in the NBA.. Dragic will be an All star and phoenix will be an 8th seed in the playoffs playing LA Clippers in the first round.

Optimistically 50+ wins.

The 3 headed guard rotation of Dragic, Bledsoe and IT gives teams fits all year

Bledsoe and Len stay healthy. No injuries to key players.

Len develops significantly this year and becomes the starting C. Doesn't bring a lot on offense, but improves team rim defense and rebounding significantly.

Green splits time between SG and SF, and comes off the bench most nights. Has another great year.

PJ Tucker remains a defensive anchor, shoots a respectable 38% from the corner 3.

Suns have a top 3 bench in the league with IT, Green and Marcus Morris scoring and Len/Plum providing a defensive presence in the middle.

Len might situationally play some PF if his outside shot improves.

Overall PF remains a trouble spot for Suns. Kieff does ok, but the front office understands an upgrade is needed.

I'm still awaiting Free Lee's prediction as the man is usually spot on.

The way we've played in pre-season, we will be lucky to finish .500

We need an interior presence and we need one badly.

Without a solid inside scoring presence and rim protector, we miss the playoffs.

SAS, OKC, LAC, GSW are too good. And NO, HOU, POR, DAL, MEMP all have the interior strength we lack.

I don't see McD just sitting around waiting if we're essentially one piece away from being a contender. I think a trade will come sometime soon and with that we'll be a playoff team.

I'll stick with the winning ticket..... 41. We'll beat half the teams we are supposed to and half the teams we aren't. The Js either go in or they don't. 50/50 every night.

I went with 43-45, hoping to be proven wrong (let's make it a trend). My reasoning is that teams will be more suspect of our style this year and be better prepared.

Was going for 46-48 but voted 49-51. No way 46-48 will get the Suns into the playoffs and i believe they will make it at the end.

If Bledsoe is as good as everyone thinks he is, we'll be better than 48 wins because missing such a good player for 30 games last year obviously changed our final win total.

Unless, of course, he or someone else or multiple people get hurt again and knowing the Suns, that's always a likely scenario.
