Damn, hella early GD thread lol.
Love that Kobe pic though

This should be an easy win like last time but Jordan Hill has been playing decent as of late offensively, sure hope him and Davis don't go off the same way Favors did the other night.
Go Suns! Only few things in basketball is more satisfactory than beating the Lakers.

That's okay ... would be just another rookie buried on the bench next year

Sure we are. Minnesota, with the 13th worst record, will win the lottery and Boston and Indiana will also get lucky and jump into 2nd and 3rd. The Lakers, in a three way tie for the actual worst record, loses the tiebreaker and falls behind Philadelphia and Indiana thereby picking 6th.

I think if you have one of the worst 3 records you are guaranteed a top 5 pick. 4 or worse and they could end picking 6 or later if they get jumped by other teams.

My understanding, the worst team can drop no lower than 4th but the 3rd worst record could drop to 6th if three lower teams jump into the top 3.

Regardless, there is a way that we get the 1st pick from Minnesota and the number 6 pick for the Lakers and I'm hoping on to hope until reality rudely crushes the party.
Lol, and who am I to ruin your dreams right?
OT: What's the over or under for this game?

I was mostly asleep when I came up with that dream. Half a cup of coffee later and I realized that we'd lose out on the Minnesota pick if they jumped to the first spot. But still, I'll be happy enough just seeing the Lakers tie for the worst record and still lose their pick to us.

The Morris brothers are playing well.
The current rotation works.
The only change that needs to be made is Tuckers needs to replace Tollivers minutes and Tolliver needs to ride the bench.
Tolliver just misses 3 pointers. At least Tucker can make 30% of this 3 point shots. And play defense. And grab a rebound.
If we simply insert Tucker into Tollivers slot, we become a better team.
Marcus needs to keep his minutes. He's earned them.

If Minnesota has the 13th worst record, they better not jump into the top 3.

Don't want to defend anyone, but Tolliver shot threes at 50% (3/6) in these first three games. So it's not like "he just misses 3 pointers" as you said. He plays at very similar level as last year in Charlotte, with somewhat better rebounding. Still, a very small sample size, so we shouldn't come to any conclusions just yet.

It's the Bledsoe 33% and Dragic 43% shooting that we need to fix. These are not even all misses due to spacing either. I don't know what happened to those guys since the preseason but they're off in a huge way. Once these two get their shots down the rest will fall into place.
