Lol, Goodwin is about 6-7 inches away vertical jump wise (lol) from doing the same dunks as Green.

Green is currently the best dunker in the game IMO... and some too.

2 feet, 1 foot dunks... Green is incredible.

Green is the best dunker in the NBA so its really no comparison for Goodwin.

Props to Goodwin though, he's younger and a lot shorter than Green and still had some pretty nice ones.

Gerald just needs to be a Sun forever.

He would if he likes the Suns contract offer...

I doubt he'll settle less than 7 million a year... I dont think Suns have that money for him though.

No contest. Green has insane hops and incredible dunking skills.

I'm so excited to see Goodwin continue to develop. If was on a crappy team like the Wolves or Sixers he's be putting up Wiggins or MCW numbers. He's got as much potential as any of the top recent draft picks.

If he gets his shot to fall, he's going to be a starter. I can't believe how much he looks like Dwayne Wade when he attacks the rim.

I would offer Green what PJ got - 3yr, $15m.

He has the worst shot selection on the team but nobody else can get as hot as he does, right when we need it. When he gets hot and pump fakes, steps back and drains a 3...wow. It's almost as exciting as his dunks!

Considering he can't even palm the ball, his dunks absolutely insane.

One of my favourite Green dunks is that alley-oop he had for the Nets, probably the greatest alley in the history of the NBA - the height he reaches and to do it IN game, it's unreal.

Check the Rockets bench reaction - Budinger, Mook etc - one guy gets up then realises he shouldn't be celebrating and sits down quickly, GOLD.

I wanted to see Plumlee in there too!

Pretty sure the guy that got up off the bench then caught himself was Hasheem Thabeet.

Did you guys see the new "scorpion dunk"?

He also tweaked it and did it adding a between the legs.

yip you're right, and that looks like Jonny Flynn next to him?

Wait, that isn't Mook either:

When you see arguably the greatest in-game dunk in NBA history an opposing coach should not be upset at them reacting the way they did. They literally had the best seat in the house for it.

The dunk Green did in New Jersey was his best dunk we'll ever see from him, IMO.

Seeing this video gives me two reactions. First off, it is incredible to watch and both of them are such gifted athletes. The second thing though is that it actually makes me mad. Why the hell is Archie Goodwin not playing consistent minutes? It is so stupid. I could care less about him being raw and a little out of control. The last time the Suns had 19 or 20 year old athletic freak that was raw was Amare Stoudemire. He could not shoot a jump shot when he first came into the league. But he was so hungry and was a monster around the hoop. Obviously Goodwin is not a power forward like Amare but he is relentless driving to the hoop, incredibly fast, and full of potential. He needs to play already. The Suns organization needs to come a realization that the chances of the team ever winning a championship starting two point guards is probably EXTREMELY SLIM. It is such a dumb experiment. Pick one point guard and go with him. Then start Green at shooting guard and bring Goodwin off the bench. It is not like the Suns are going to make the playoffs this year the way they are currently constructed anyway. Might as well develop the young talent. I am all for that.

^ I feel the same way. I really don't understand why we cant use the 2nd unit to develop Goodwin, Warren, and Ennis. We are supposed to still be rebuilding right? Shouldn't teams that are rebuilding, make an effort to actually develop the young players? I guess the goal wasn't to build a contender, just a middle of the pack treadmill team, as always.
