Isaiah Thomas has ruined the Suns?

Post#1 » by MCMXCII » Wed Feb 18, 2015 4:02 am

He has caused for Dragic to now demand a trade, I am telling you, he is a cancer and NO i'm not trolling. I watched him destroy the kings until they finally let him go. you cannot have a tiny point guard lead your team to anything, not even a playoff birth. i feel so bad for phoenix. IT is the one who needs to go

I wish I believed Kings fans when they said this would happen.

I don't care if we trade Goran, I still want IT gone as well. I'm sure he hasn't appreciated all the news of the Suns preferring to trade him than Goran over the past couple days.

What a total stuff up this has been.

If IT came in and happily took Ish's role last season, it wouldve been awesome. But no, the guy has a whinge and cry and now our best player has been alienated.

I blame IT for being a selfish little bitch, and I also blame McD for signing him in the first place.

The day IT leaves the Suns will be a great day.

I don't know if we can place the blame completely on Thomas. It sounds like Goran really just wants to be the main ball handler. But there's no denying that Thomas certainly has magnified this issue. We may or may have not reached this same situation without Thomas without him it would have been less likely.

It was clearly a mistake to sign him either way since we already have (HAD) Goran and Bledsoe. Even without Goran and Thomas we'd still have Bledsoe at the point and that's still fine.

Quite the assumption some of you are making, again.

This is so stupid. Goran wants to be THE PG of a team and get max money. That's it. He doesn't want to play the 2. He doesn't want to play off ball. He doesn't want to share PG duties. He wants to be the man and get paid.

This whole thing was pretty much sealed when we signed Bledsoe.

Without IT, Goran could've played the 1 and ran the offence with the second unit.. Sort of Manu-s role in SAS.

This is the role I've envisioned for Dragic for years - splitting time at the 1 and 2.

Adding Thomas though killed Goran's chances of playing the 1, and also when he plays the 2, IT runs the offence and Goran is relegated to spot-up duties.

Im 99% sure Goran wouldve bought into a backcourt rotation of Bled, Goran and a Pure 2.. As was the case last year.

I have been advocating even getting an expiring for IT would be a good trade for us. I never liked this signing from the beginning, I would take an expiring to erase this mistake. IT was never going to be happy here with his role, and we are not going to be a good team with him playing the role he wants. I personally think he is also the worst player out of the 3 with the ball in his hands, yet he dominates the ball handling duties when he is on the floor. I also blame him for Green regressing so much this season compared to last.

Not Isaiah's fault, they knew what they were getting by signing him.

This isn't on Isaiah. It's on McD. Isaiah has come in and has done what he's been paid to do.

As one of those kings fans that tried to say this earlier I feel for all of you. It's hard to explain as ITs stats demonstrate value and he's not a bad guy. He just is so determined to get his that it causes issues.

It isn't Isaiah's fault both Bledsoe and Goran came out so flat this season. We leaned on IT, and then expected him to disappear once Bledsoe and Goran decided to show up and play? F*ck that sh*t! Again, I e seen Goran differ the point duities often. If he wanted to be the point, he would just bring the ball up. Honestly, I think Goran slacked off a lot this season, which isn't IT's fault.

some will scapegoat him but most rational people won't.

I hope IT comes out balling after the break.
