Sign Goran Dragic.
Sign Wes Mathews/Danny Green.
Build from there.

Equal parts youth, veterans, leadership. Should be a good balance.

That criteria is a recipe for mediocrity.

I'd throw big money at Jimmy Butler. Not too sure how Chicago can keep him and I think he'd be a great addition to our squad. Re-sign Knight, we let too much go not to get something out of him. Draft Frank Kaminsky.

Do we have enough space to throw the most at him? I just don't see how they let Butler leave, with how Rose keeps going down. I think they would take the money hit in hopes that the cap rises greatly in the next few years.

And even though we gave up a bunch to get Knight, if we could get Butler, I would rather him be at the two. I also don't see Horny demoting PJ to the third string, he is way too much of a glue guy and dirt worker. If we did keep Knight, and somehow nabbed Butler, I would expect a trade involving the twins.

I think we do, I'm not sure, but I'm just not seeing his name thrown around enough, so I thought I'd get the ball rolling. Resident Capologists could probably tell you for sure.

Some rumours about salary cap being 105m in 2017-2018!

We may not have the best players, but we can position ourselves to have 6 of the best mid 20s aged players by that time on favourable contracts.

That seems to be the direction McD wants to go with. So adding another couple of gettable players like Knight, Harris, Green to go with Bledsoe, Morris, Len and still having room for a superstar in the next 2-3 years, seems like his plan.
