The Suns drafted Alex Len who has had an excellent college career but transitioning to the NBA has been a questionable duty that he has not answered the call to become a quality NBA center. Len has a lot of talent and potential but does that translate to a good NBA center. Injuries have been an issue and given the amount of time will he overcome these obstacles and compete at a high level. Will the draft bring a good complimentary player to be paired with Len on the frontline. How long will the management take to formulate a plan of action to bring change to the dismal records the Suns have had over the past years via trades and injuries.

Suns aren't giving up on Len for at least the next 4-5 years.

The general consensus here is that we really like Len going forward. He made some good improvements last year and was probably the biggest reason to watch last season despite the team record.

Len will be a top 10 center in the NBA if he stays healthy.

He's an excellent rim protector, he's tough, he can hit the outside jumper, and he also is pretty quick for a 7 footer.

The big issue is his feet and ankles.

I like Len, but we need insurance. We need to draft a 4 or 5.

Bogut was injured for the majority of his early years and even at 30 years old now, he's an important part of an NBA finals team. Len might not ever be a superstar, but there's nothing to suggest he won't be a very valuable piece moving forward. Capable centres are highly sought after.

The only thing holding Len back is injuries. That's why we should definitely bring in some help, preferably a veteran big who can teach Len a thing or two.

Or at least re-sign Wright, who is perfect for that role.

After tonight's NBA finals game its clear we don't need a front court. Twelve total minutes played by GSW front court players. Its a small man's game. PG, SG, SG, SF, SF

And that is the reason why I want to draft (if possible) a player like Winslow or Stanley Jhonson. That type of SG/SF/PF are very effective in today's NBA. Players like Iguodala, Draymond or Barmes are like them physically and can defend multiple positions and offensively they can make threes and go to the rim.

Small ball lineups if not played situationally will be absolutely manhandled in the post by teams like SA and Memphis with classic bigs. Seems like BPA in the draft could be a wing like Stanley or Oubre which I would take in a heartbeat rather than to overpay for Carroll who is more like an upgraded Tucker. But ultimately we need a legit PF to compliment Len who can bang down low and with enough range to not clog up the paint and mess up spacing.

Hornets now have Jefferson, Vonleh, Zeller, Biyombo and Hawes.

Yea it turns out if you have the best player on the planet or the best shooter to have ever stepped foot on the planet then you can get away with more lineup variations.

Do Suns have either? Hell no. Will the Suns be getting either one in the foreseeable future? Hell no.

Biyombo is a RFA. If he receives a big offer they are not gonna match.

The word is flexibility. Suns need to be able to go big or small. Front court help is definitely required. More at the 4 than the 5, IMO. It sounds crazy but we need front court interior scoring....Stoudemire would be great. People keep laughing at it, but I think a trade for PAU or signing Stoudemire would do wonders for us. I think Pau actually fits better than Stoudemire based on need right now, but we could do both if we lost out on Wright who is actually the perfect backup at the 4 or 5 for us.

Every starting player in those lineups can play two positions pretty effectively. Some two positions, some three. That flexibility will allow us to rotate players through the lineup quickly and keep up the pace.

The alternate to the above would be to draft Kaminsky or Booker at #13, grab Stoudemire and re-sign Wright
