Is Len playing this year? I don't know if he needs it. He kind of has a "summer league curse" going on as well. I think it'd be better if he didn't come to Vegas.

Goodwin needs to play and he needs to hit >10 shots from beyond 15 feet. He didn't hit a single jumper in Summer League last year.

I'm sad Ennis got traded. I was really looking forward to the Warren/Ennis combo this year. Those two had real potential to be a great duo.

The return of Alec Brown should be interesting. He needs to have really stepped up his game this year to project any sort of future in the league.

Will Bogdan play? That would be great to see as well.

Is Tucker playing, lol?
I'll probably end up buying the summer league pass again this year even though last year I only watched like two games. I hope Len plays, but I'm not sure he really needs it. Then again, I would like to see him work some post games against lesser competition just to see his fluidity in his moves.

The Suns' work on filling out next season's frontcourt will include taking a summer team look at former Florida center Patric Young and NBA veteran Josh Harrellson.

Nice! I've always liked Patric Young - the guy is obviously a hard worker.

McDonough said yesterday in an interview that he is working the phones recruiting some not drafted players that we liked.

I think young has a chance to make the roster. And if he can't they should see if he can catch a football and play TE for the Cardinals :)

Carter is a high-energy/high-flyer type of guy. After starting his overseas career in Slovakia (not good), he worked his way all the way to the Euroleague. Played with Patric Young last season. As you'd imagine there were lots of dunks between the two of them.

Looks like we'll know the full roster later today.

Yeah, I would have taken him or Porzingis at that spot over all the other guys, except maybe Towns, who obviously wasn't there and had little chance of being there.

Happy that my friend Mickey made the Suns summer league team. I'm just as excited to watch him as Booker, Goodwin, and Warren.

I hope Alex Len prove he will be an All-Star someday. Dominate this summer league!

Yes, before his third season in the league I want to see big numbers in this summer league. He is gonna be one of the best Cs out there, I would be happy with a 15p 10r 3b numbers....I don't want to see less than that.

Warren/Goodwin /Booker ...exciting!

I really wanted PYoung to be our banger/last big off the bench, but he's signed in Greece now (somebody else posted it, but I forgot which thread)
https://twitter.com/paulcoro/status/616775799434141696

I'd try and get someone like Acy on the cheap, always need a prototypical banger to throw bodies around and get rebounds.

We should totally destroy all other teams this year. Looking forward to seeing how much muscle Len has put on.

Return to Phoenix Suns
