So apparently we're on the list! Thought it might be fun to hear what some of y'all would pitch to the big fella to try and get him to come here. Overvaluing our assets is welcomed and encouraged.

To be honest, I think we're the unlikely candidate. San Antonio has the pedigree, Mavs too to a lesser extend, Lakers got glamor, Houston has a big 2 to join forces with, New York is a train wreck and glamor to some extent, Toronto is in a similar position as us and of course he can always return to the comforts of Portland. What do we have to offer that they don't?

I put our chances at .1% That is a 1 in 1000 chance for those who may have failed math.

I reckon our odds are much improved with LMA's mom joining him in the meetings. There's something about Babby's demeanor that would be very appealing to a parent of an NBA player.

So maybe 0.2%?

I wonder who we're bringing. To recruit Nash we brought Jerry and Bryan Colangelo, MDA, Amare, Sarver, Rex Chapman and Kerr. If I was the Suns I'd go as hard as I can. Bring McD (obviously), Babby, Tucker, Bledsoe, Hornacek, Sarver, Nash, Barkley, Larry Fitzgerald, Jerry Colangelo, John Calipari (if he and McD are as close as he says they are).

We have no chance to land him. I'm surprised we are even on the list given the grudge he has against Eddie Johnson.

(Eddie Johnson called him out back in the day when he was struggling to develop and it actually caused some bad blood).

.01 and .02 percent chance? Way too pessimistic. I put us at about 10-15 percent of a chance.

Hey LMA...come to Phoenix so you can...

1. Steal ipads with Rex Chapman
2. Snort coke with Richard Dumas
3. Beat your wife alongside Jason Kidd
4. Throw annoying fans through plate glass windows with Charles Barkley
5. Get DUI's with Mike Tyson
6. Smoke weed with Michael Beasley
7. Beat the **** out of anyone you don't like with the morris twins
8. Get behind the wheel of a S550 with a BAC of .31 so PJ doesn't have to drive.
9. Find yourself on "the dirty"
10. Get drunk by the pool and hit on ASU sluts @ W6

Nice pitches fellas... I guess I'll go first.

So we know LMA has done particularly well with Robin Lopez as his front court partner because of his rim protection and no need to have offense run for him. Well, Alex Len is the best shot blocker out of all the teams he is meeting with, and he's 22 years old. Let that sink in. He could have a front court defender to protect him for the rest of his career. http://www.basketball-reference.com/play-index/pcm_finder.cgi?request=1&sum=0&p1=lenal01&y1=2015&p2=lopezro01&y2=2015&y3=2015&p3=splitti01&y4=2015&p4=howardw01&y5=2015&p5=chandty01&y6=2015&p6=valanjo01

Second, LMA would have a more than competent back up in Markieff Morris, thus getting plenty of rest throughout the season for the next 4 years. (Hush all you thinking "HE'S GOING TO JAIL!!!")

We can also offer floor spacing with 3 players with career 3pt% over 35% (PJ, Knight and Marcus - again, hush!) and a young sharp shooter that we drafted (Booker).

LMA has shouldered the load in Portland with Damian Lillard and Wesley Matthews. If you compare Phoenix's back court and Portland's, their numbers are actually quite similar. (I'm looking at their totals, of course Knight wasn't as effective when he got here as he was in Milwaukee, but I'm attributing that to lack of time to build chemistry. Shhhh!). But with us, Knight and Bledsoe can each run the offense. Knight and Bledsoe are also younger than Lillard and Matthews.

Basically, I'm pitching that we are a younger, deeper and better (*cough* not entirely true *cough*) version of Portland.

I don't give a damn wtf the stats say, Alex Len is not a better shot blocker than Dwight Howard.

Overall, Dwight and even the old Timmy and Dirk are still better than Len is this year and maybe even for most of the duration of the contract LMA will sign. Len needs to be reliable and stay healthy before his name is mentioned in any sort of a "pitch".

There's overvaluing our assets and then there's trying to say that Len is a better shot blocker than Dwight.

I thought the rest of the overvaluing our assets like the Knight, Bledsoe and Kieff praising was all fine but Len better shot blocker than Dwight may have been too much.

Hi Lamarcus, we're looking for a back up for our best player Markieff Morris, are you interested? If he goes to jail, you might be able to get some more minutes. Also what's Lillard's number, tell him we've got 2 spots available for him.

The real point is he's young and pretty darn good at blocking shots. If making a decision for the next 5 years of your career, do you want to play with Dwight Howard, who might decline in production, or Alex Len who'll likely increase his production?

I'm pretty sure we're the youngest team in the running for LMA. Gotta stretch what the limited sample size says, especially against the teams with pedigrees.

Are most of you guys sure you're FANS of this team? Everyone's acting like they wouldn't want LaMarcus on our squad....
