Paul George must be pissed they did sign Ellis but lost Hibbert and West. I wonder if a package og TJ, Kieff, Knight plus 2-3 picks would do it. However he is coming of a big injury so could be a risk.

PG - Bledsoe/Price
SG - PJ/Goodwin/Booker
SF - George/Weems
PF - Fillers
C - Chandler/Len

Really good defensive team we got there.

Vogel said he's looking at George to play PF sometime to alot.

If teams are going to be doing that, I think it suits our line up.

But I think George and Cousins will be gettable, once their GMs see the isolated superstar may not be worth more long time than starting a rebuild with a good package.

If the Mavs have a fire sale to complement their tank, the only player on their roster in whom I'd be interested is Dirk, and obviously not at a steep price. We'd probably get only one year out of him, but no 4 is stretchier than the OG.

The real question is, where are we sending Archie? Can we get more than a second rounder for him?

Doubt Cuban rebuilds. He has the patience of a 2 year old.

Gerald Green to Miami

With the Suns - they still have 4m of cap space so unless Sarver doesn't want to spend the money, they cannot announce the Brandon Knight signing - just yet.

The PF tobe - wish its Jordan Hill if keeping Kieff

OUT
Gerald Green
Marcus Morris
Reggie Bullock
Earl Barron
Marcus Thornton
Brandan Wright
Danny Granger

And probably McNeal

I.REALLY.LIKE.IT. I will not miss anyone on that list, the only player that I wanted back is Wright, but we have sign an upgrade in his position with Chandler.

Also not a half bad player to have in the modern NBA game with his passing ability and three point shooting. I've wanted him on this team for a long, long time. Unfortunately it might be hard to acquire a player whom is in a bromance with the owner of his team.

Imagine:

Bledsoe
Knight
Parsons
Kieff
Chandler

Well I guess I can only dream and I have no idea what it would take to get him. That's my annual offseason pitch for Parsons.

Does anyone on here know how much the Suns available cap space was effected by the cap jumping up a little bit higher than expected?

ESPN sources say Mavs owner Mark Cuban has begun to notify people within the organization that DeAndre Jordan is staying with Clippers

This is so bad for the league. Huge ramifications. Completely screws over the Mavericks organization dramatically. Impacts not only their team, but their sponsors, fans, and plan for the future as well. And to see Blake Griffin tweet a photo making a joke of the whole situation about not letting anyone into the house is embarrassing. The Clippers organization top to bottom is showing their true colors. What a disgrace. I hope all the owners come together to make sure the Clippers get punished somehow. This is not right. Just imagine if Aldridge agreed to sign with the Suns and then him and the Spurs pulled something like this. It would be far worse than him not agreeing in the first place. I have never seen anything like this happen.

I don't disagree with most of what you said, but the whole reason they have the moratorium is for cases just like this. Supposed to happen before giving intent, but it is meant to be a period of reflection, decision-making and zen. :-D

It's actually meant for the NBA and NBPA to have time to audit the books and come up with the cap number, which is necessary before signing deals because teams haveto know if they are over or under the cap to apply various rules, how much space they have, etc..

It also is a bonus that players have time to think about offers, but even then, it's never been about providing a week for players to reconsider an already agreed to contract.

That's only one of the reasons, otherwise they could wait until that same day to allow teams to talk to FA's with that information already in hand. All told, with both of those reasons in hand, it's a pretty good system, but it works best when people keep their word.

BOOM!

No Gerald Green, no Marcus Morris, and no "average" guys clogging the roster and keeping the younger guys from developing. No "average" guys keeping us in the hunt for playoffs only to fall to the high lottery.

Seems like we went all in on LMA and lost and are now going all in on youth and cap flexibility going forward.

Bledsoe/Price
Knight/Booker/Archie
TJ/PJ
Keef/Leur
Chandler/Len

Our team is probably going to be pretty bad this year, but at least we will start tanking the right way. LOL.

But I'm excited to see Archie, Booker, and TJ get minutes.

The League will do nothing.
They do not like Cuban and the Clippers are their protected team.

I think PJ starts at the beginning of the season and Weems will backup SG with Archie at backup PG. I am hoping they give these 1st and 2nd year players a chance though.

Parsons may have had micro-fracture surgury the last time his knee got injured. Both he and the Mavs are being super hush hush about it. Just based on that I'd stay far away from him.

It was guaranteed for me when DJ picked Clippers. We will go to playoffs unless our key players got hurt,
