Is Kieff dogging it?

First post. I know we have MO bros but now that kieff is wanting a trade i feel it should have its own post. I hate to see him go but it seems it would be best for the team. I have no idea where we could trade him with all the drama going on.

Not sure Gambo has any true sources with the Suns. I don't know about this report.

Yep, I would love to get Bennett back in whatever package we get for Kief. Would probably hAve to be a 3 way, what does Minny need?

Has Bennett shown anything on the NBA level? Seems kinda like Beasley to me. Lazy or something to be the #1 pick( Beasley was #2), be injury free and still can't see the court on bad teams.

Just passing through and I noticed this thread. Bennett is definitely available. Minny probably would want either a backup sg/wing that can play some D or just a future pick. They don't need another big - KG, Bjelica, Payne, Towns, and Dieng can all play the PF spot, Shabazz can play small ball PF, too. A third team would probably be needed to make a deal.

Welcome to the board. I think we would have to start with Orlando, Sacramento, Indiana and Washington. Perhaps go for a three way trade where Orlando gets him, NO gets Frye, and we get Anderson. Not sure if NO would do it since Anderson is better but they only have him for one more year then he can walk and Frye is locked up for three more years. Orlando would probably have to give up a pick though, likely to go to NO.

Why would it have to be a 3 way? I LOVE 3 ways or think I would but if they traded Bennett their PF rotation would be KG, Payne (raw) and Bjelica. They could use a solid scoring guy like him.

Tucker fits that bill. But I doubt he's your missing piece and we might need him for frontcourt depth after we deal Kieff which likely won't net us a starting caliber PF in return.

Theoretically Towns can play four, but obviously he is really raw, as is Payne, and you don't know how good those guys will actually turn out. I expect Towns will be a stud, but it takes time to adjust to the NBA, especially for 1 year college guys. KG obviously is almost done. I think Markieff might make some sense for you guys since you lack bigs that can score at the moment. But I guess it depends on the plan of the FO..whether they want to continue to try and get high picks or they want to grow and compete more quickly...from what I know about Flip, it seems like it would be the latter.

But I wouldn't trade Kieff straight up for Bennett. There would certainly have to be more.

Do you think we could net someone like Sullinger? The Celtics have a logjam up front, and by trading him they can get away from signing a possibly (probably) larger salary than they'd take with kieff.

We could, but I don't think he fits our team well. Not sure I saw your earlier posts, so welcome to the forum.

Understandable but that's probably why a third team would need to be involved. I can't see Flip parting with any of his young core (Rubio, LaVine, Wiggins, Muhammad, Dieng, Towns, probably Jones) so that doesn't leave much. Maybe Martin but we would need a SG in return if we did that.

In reality Minny doesn't need much in return for Bennett so something like Kieff to third team, Bennett and other asset from third team to PHX, minor asset (pick, cash) from third team to Minny. I have no idea who that third team would be, though.

Yeah, i suggested a 3 way because i cant see anything Minny would want directly from us (they dont want Kief), and Kief is worth more than Bennett straight up. So it comes down to, what teams want Kief and what assets do they have that they will part with? Then flip assets for Bennett. Would Minny go for the pick that Clevland traded us plus another small assett, then we could in a seperate deal flip Kief simply for a pick and something else. I dont know.... I cant wrap my mind around who wants Kief and what deal can be done, but Kief is a malcontent and much like any relationship, "i cant make yo u love me if you wont" (yeah, those are song lyrics.. lol) if you want to go, I WANT YOU TO GO..... BITCH!!! Im rambling. .. I want whatever assets we can get for Kief, and I want Anyhony Bennett!

MIN is not interested in Morris.
MIN is interested in trading Bennett but i can't see a 3-team trade involving Morris and Bennett.

What i would have done is send Morris to DET for Ilyasova.
This way the brothers are together and you get back a starting PF.
Because Ilyasova's contract is team friendly i suppose you will have to include a sweetener, some kind of pick.

Kings for Gay, done.

I doubt MIN would want him and his petulant attitude anywhere near their youngsters.

He seems like a Knick to me haha

That's exactly what I'd do too, but not sure if SVG would do that. Ilyasova is a MUCH better 3pt shooter than Kieff...

Who knows. I don't know how i feel about Illy. I don't know if i want ryan anderson either :-/. Kieff is a good balance of everything. Oh well though. I just thought Bennet because he was young. Maybe MCD can pull Illy magic again. What is illys contract anyways?

Could try and pry Tristan Thompson and pay the man? Be young group again. If we send kieff to Detroit we better get a pick as well.

Why do you guys think that Markieff fits here? He couldn't be a stretch 4 and that is what we need with 2 slasher guards.
