Must win - these sorts of home games should be gimmes.

We need to dominate these guys in the backcourt and not let Gallo go off. Make him work on the other end so hopefully Warren gets more burn.

Chandler should be able to keep Hickson off the glass, that guy always seems to have double-doubles against us!

These kinds of game made us 9th-10th team in West in last 2 seasons. We MUST win these home games against weak teams. This season, we are good with it (except first game of season against DAL). We defeated Portland twice and Kings without Cousins. Also we defeated Clippers without 3 starters. So we seem to defeat weak teams. Let's keep it going.

Any news about Markieff and Price? Are they gonna play?

I would bet that Kieff has a better shot to play, unless word comes out that his injury was serious, but I don't think it was.

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

This is going to be the test for Bled and Knight. They abused the Clippers, but that was Bled's old team, and he gets up for playing them, with or without CP3. He needs to show that he's gonna bring it, no matter the competition. Knight's coming off his best game of the season and need to have an efficient night and prove he can be consistent. Also, if Kieff plays, this is when he needs to get on track. Faried/Hickson/Arthur aren't slouches, but Kieff should be able to score on them.

I certainly hope they can bring it against a duo as young as Mudiay and Harris. I wonder if Mudiay has faced a defender as tough as Bledsoe yet.

Well, he's played Westbrook, Curry and Rubio, and probably a taste of Patrick Beverly's bulldog defense against Houston.

He's 1 for 8 right now and Denver is up....the guards are not playing well. It's nice to get another team coming off a b2b.

Agreed. We especially lost so many games against teams that ended up being/projected to be sub .500 last season in the first two months of the season itself and that's why I unfortunately correctly guessed that the Suns won't make the playoffs.

Even in our 48 win year, out of all the top 9 teams in the West, no team lost to more sub .500 teams than the Suns.

I don't know if it's a staple of Jeff Hornacek coached teams come out flat against the non great teams but we gotta fix it whatever it is. Already got blow out by Dallas so early in the season, can't have this one too.

It's kind of unclear who the subpar teams are right now. Houston, for example, has lost to Denver twice and Brooklyn. I mean you have to assume Denver, Portland, Minnesota will fall back a bit, but they are all playing pretty well so far.

Geez, talk about a soft schedule. Absolute must win.

Clipps coming off a B2B missing 2 starters @ home. Denver coming off a B2B missing a starter @ home. Lakers coming off a late B2B @ home.

**edit** going into the second game of a B2B

Maybe Silver is trying to rectify Stern's ways with the Suns.

I think it's all just a hot start plus teams not taking them seriously enough. I mean I'm really confident that Denver, Portland and Minnesota won't make playoffs.

Me too, but like you said, these hot starts can be scary, particularly when half of your players are new. It's nice we are getting teams coming off b2b games so we can get into a groove. Hopefully Knight becomes consistent and Kieff gets back to form.

I will say though, that if Kieff is out, any game is going to be tough, so hopefully he is back.

Utah has lost to Orlando without Oladipo. Denver defeated Houston twice. Weird things happening early in the season. Pelicans is probably out of playoffs, hard to recover from there. Memphis is struggling. Every team is like .500 right now lol. It is a great opportunity to make a winning streak.

Ronnie Price (concussion) is doubtful and Markieff Morris (left knee sprain) is questionable for Saturday's #SunsVsNuggets game.

I've been saying we should try to use more of Leur for a while now. This could be good since Markieff's offense is in the toilet.
