Hey y'all. For no reasons other than my love of the Suns and the NBA, I've been working with bwgood, lilfishi, and Kerrsed on a "prediction competition."
Here's how it works:
In Section A, provide the names of the 16 playoff teams.
In Section B, give your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd best guesses for each award
In Section C, provide the correct number
In Section D, provide the correct number or answer
(1st choice: _____
2nd choice: _____
3rd choice: _____
so we know which of your choices is which.
It doesn't have to be formatted exactly like that.)
Based on the specificity of each question, your answers will be scored differently.
The highest score receives.....mad props for general basketball knowledge! I can't promise anything, sorry.
Section A: Name the 16 playoff teams for the 2016 playoffs.
If you get the right playoff team 2 or more seeds away, +0.5 pts
If you get the right playoff team 1 seed away, +1 pt
If you get the right playoff team and call the exact seed, +2 pts
Max pts: 32
Section B: Predict the following award winners.
+5 pts for 1st choice, +2 pts for 2nd choice, +1 pt for third choice (no scoring on 2nd, 3rd, but if your 2nd choice wins one of these, awards, for example, you get 2 points)
