I remember him from either the summer league or the preseason, but he was everywhere in the game I saw.

Kinda reminds me a bit of Kevin Durant. Wish this kid success in the NBA.

Green font??

Although i like his measurements...

6'4 in socks..

Over 7 foot wingspan.

But he doesnt protect the ball when he drives... In the NBA he'll get stuffed or get stripped easily.

Looks like Jordan Crawford to me - and there's a reason he's not in the league despite having stretches averaging 20 a night and having a triple double or two.

For an end of the bench guy he'll do fine, climb aboard the tank young fella.

Wouldn't trade him for Kevin Durant.

He's going to be 25 in a couple months, and he's hungry for a roster spot and contract. I hope he proves himself worthy of one because we could use someone that can run the offense.
He's got a crazy wingspan and is pretty athletic. Good pick up.

ATTL, would you trade him for Curry?

I think it's very hard to judge him fully right now, considering the tiny sample size. Also, it seemed pretty obvious that the Knicks didn't even have a full scouting report on the guy, judging by the defense not seeming comfortable forcing him in a direction or trying to close out on his jumpers.
From what I saw I can say that he made some very good decisions out there, and a few very nice passes. I'm oddly enough sold the least on his scoring. His shot in the D-league seemed kinda "meh" (32% from 3) so I can't expect those jumpers from tonight to go in very consistently, and his weight and rail-thin frame seems like it could hurt his finishing at the basket. On the upside he takes long strides and can handle the ball, and his length can help counteract a bit of the weight problem. Overall, his playmaking is enough to be hopeful about him, and I'm sure the scoring instinct is a plus. The jury is very much out, but I'm giving a very tentative thumbs up on this one.

There is a reason why Kurt Warner is playing arena ball and bagging groceries. Be careful there.

You can find gold in d-league every once-in-a-while. It should be more. Players who are not quite ready should be able to go to d-league and hone their craft and eventually be able to star. The NBA shouldn't just be for child prodigies.

Agreed. I believe Hornacek himself was drafted outside of the second round. With so many one and done guys taking up all the rookie contracts there are probably more often guys who got more college experience who are playing in these leagues than extremely young one and done raw rookies.

Small sample size, but doesn't look all that bad. Hopefully he earns a legit shot on this team because at this point the unknown is a lot better at keeping my interest than the stink known
