How are you?

Haven't been here for awhile. Forgive the meaningless thread, but I thought I'd ask.

How's life been for the Suns board regulars?

I watch the board and games when I can. Honestly its a very said state the Suns are experiencing. Other than watching Booker grow there isn't a lot to be positive about. I miss all the funny posts and pictures Kerrsed, Frank, Gtumpy and few other put out there on a regular basis. At least I used to crack a smile more often than not while reading the board. Not so much lately.

>you will never post on a Suns board when Nash and Stoudemire are on the same team ever again
>you will never make a polish hammer meme again
>you will never call dragic the dragon as you wait for the future ever again
>you will never see Robin Lopez have a great night because his back is healing up ever again
>you will never compliment Amundsons hustle as you simultaneously hate Gentrys rotations ever again

**** man

Is life even worth living at this point or nah

Very dark times, but Booker has been worth watching. Some of the other young guys as well like Archie, Len, Warren from time to time.

I'll personally be about 50% happier once Markieff is gone though.

Well it certainly can't get much worse.

We have Booker and about to get a top two pick in this draft, what's not to like? You have to suck to get either Ingram or Simmons......ask me after the lottery. Please people, hit brakes now.

This...I'm serious. It may not be the same people complaining, but over the summer/October it was all "oh jesus here we go again pumping out another mediocre treadmilling team" you would think there would be a more pleasant demeanor considering that the Suns probably will end up with the second worst record, and are actually playing the young guys A LOT (and they're improving, too). All the mishaps come with the nature of being a sh*tty team.

Its no lock that we're getting either of them. If we miss on both this effort would have gone for naught

Doing well at work and home. Hopefully a promotion this year. Very stable and trending upwards.
I have faith we will draft an impact player this year.

I'm somehow at ease with the clusterfck this team has become.

We're progressing towards a high draft pick, have all our picks and CLE/MIA picks, plus we have Booker who looks like a stud SG.

The roster make-up is lop-sided and our youth (besides Booker) really doesn't float my boat and none of Len/Goodwin/Warren appear to be long-term starters in my honest opinion. They all serve a purpose, but none are guys you look at now and think 'he's our starting X/Y/Z' in 2 years' time.

I just want to move on from this Morris mess, cut ties with Chandler and surround the young guys with other young guys and hope they can mesh. Try and get Caboclo or Noguiera for Kieff; if they send Chandler to OKC for example try and get a guy with some upside like McGary. If Tucker goes to WAS try and get Oubre. I don't want expirings being the 'core' of the deal, we need some incentive to move these serviceable guys, something like a young player or a pick.

Personally, I'm getting over a nasty flu and have been off my feet most of the last week.

We're off to Turkey for an 8 day trek (4 yr anniversary present to each other), then next month we're going to Poland for 4 days, followed by a driving tour of Ireland later in March.

THEN...the big trek home, to move back to New Zealand. We've been living here in London for the last 3 years and it's been great, but now we want to settle down and start having kids. So the trip home is 1 week in Holland to see my wife's family; 1 week round Portugal, 2 weeks round Spain, 1 week in Malta for sun and some fishing, 2 weeks round Greece, 2 weeks relaxing in Thailand, then back to NZ. Going to be epic.

Also planning the trip has been a nice distraction from the Suns, though I've watched every game this year apart from 1-2 where I accidentally heard the score/was told by a friend before watching on league pass!
