Well, there is still something to look upon this season. Young players and the Return of the Dark Knight.

Goodwin misses having the ball as much and is driven to be a starter again.

“I just like the ball in my hands,” Goodwin said. “Wherever I can get the ball at in my hands offensively, that’s all that really matters to me. For me, to just say I’m a stand-up corner guy, I wouldn’t be realistic with myself. When I have the ball in my hands, that’s when I’m most effective. Regardless of whether I’m at the 1 or 2, if I have the ball in my hands, I’m fine. I just try to look for different ways without being selfish or taking it out of the team concept.”

Tough to get that starting role when youre coming in behind the might Ronnie Price. Keep dreaming Goodwin.

We should sign Beasley first. Just to piss off Houston and help with the tank.

And the local weed dealers!

On a more serious note, u guys think Lawson and/or Martin can contribute?
Not for us, just in general... If I were Utah I'd give Lawson a go for sure - he can't hurt that much in the last month or so, can he?
Martin looks to be done(ish) by his numbers, but he could go to any contender I guess.

I hope Brooklyn gets Lawson and Martin. Would really help ease my mind that we are at least the 3rd worst team in the league.

Maybe Lawson, if he really is trying to up his value, and playing it nice (until he gets another contract in the offseason). He could really help that team if his mind is into it.
I don"t see Martin going there. But I also really hope we keep our 3rd seed.

What does everyone think about the offseason in terms of trade activity? Will we make a big move? More than one? Stand pat? Add a few vets and compete for the 8th seed? I think we need to do something with either Knight or Bledsoe. I just don't see it working long term. Yes, I realize they haven't really played together much but I think I've seen enough to move on. Bledsoe/Booker makes more sense to me than Knight/Booker so I would look to move Knight, assuming Bled is on track as far as his recovery goes.

Bledsoe and Knight have been pretty good together.

If we get a great deal sure we might trade one of them but I am not sure if it is a given.

Also we will probably chase players like Horford and Batum.

Is Knight done for the season? What the hell is wrong with him?

I think McD would like to try and make some sort of big deal, with some of our assets, but I can't think of any premier players that might be available. George, Cousins, Millsap, etc, won't be available so then the focus goes to free agents, and we obviously won't have a shot at Durant, so I think he will go back again to try and sell Love on coming to the Suns. Tell him he will be the focus, possibly that we will go after Westbrook next offseason, or whatever, but I doubt that works, and meanwhile other lesser free agents will sign elsewhere and we will then sign a couple of guys like we did last year in Leuer and Telly to short deals to patch together a team that we hope can be competitive.

They may end up overpaying someone like Anderson or maybe try and sign Ilyasova if Orlando declines the team option.

If we can't make a major move, and I'm not even sure we should, unless it's for a younger guy, then I'd rather just bring back Leuer and maybe start Len or Leuer at 4 until our rookie is ready and maybe eventually start him if he looks ready.

Given Sarver's letter, and knowing him, I don't see much patience though and I think we will strive for the playoffs even if it sacrifices more time for youth.

Him and Bledsoe making some damn good money per game played this year. Bledsoe almost at $12,750 per minute played.

Hopefully he can improve his stock, to make a possible move this offseason. With the rise of Booker(even though he is struggling at present), picking up Jenkins, and the possibility of Bog in another year, our two guard spot could be a solid rotation. Plus there are some decent two guards at the Wiz pick spot.
