I'd choose Hield or Murray.

Think McDonough will pick the leftover between Bender and Murray.

If Bender is off the board and McDonough doesn't pick Murray, I will be absolutely shocked

Looks like I wanted Frank the Tank based on what selection was left.

I think some here are hating on Murray just because he's a combo guard from Kentucky. Give the dude a chance to impress you is all.

Me too. I watched the Canada/USA game, which seemed to be played at a very pedestrian pace, and Murray looked good. But NBA is faster. I think Hield edges out Murray. His offense is just electric. I am convinced that Hield will be a star. And we know that we will get one of Simmons, Ingram (I know), Hield, or Bender. I would probably take Murray over Bender.

I took Murray...in this situation I would probably either try to trade down with Sacramento and get something and take Chriss, and might even think long and hard about taking Chriss at 4 if he passed all the workout/interview tests. But with what I know now and keeping the pick, it would have to be Murray.

I know the poll in our draft thread favors Hield over Murray, but I suspected with Bender gone, that the results would flip to Murray, and it is obviously because of people liking young guys with more potential upside.

Interesting to see with Boston though, that even though over 60% chose Bender, that Murray still edged out Hield.

I also see at the end Philly fans voted evenly with 47 votes each for Simmons and Ingram, though I guess Ingram was ahead when it closed. Also interesting to see the only other person with votes, and 2 of them, was Chriss.

And with the Lakers, all but two votes, but those two go to Davis? That was either a joke, or you have Davis/Chriss family members at those forums....or actually more likely fans from other teams doing that.

I wonder if fans from the Lakers swayed the Philly vote....though probably not much since I didn't even know this mock draft was occurring.

Ingram is the better fit for either team in any case....and Boston, us and most of the lotto teams..other than maybe Sacramento.
