If we go with a PF with our first pick, who would you prefer?

Just want to see what the forum thinks when it is narrowed down to a specific position, as other options in the overall poll may throw off which guard exactly MOST people want.
I know a couple may prefer someone else but I'd rather stick to people who I think may be real options at 4.
I'm sure some don't want ANY of these guys at 4, but if you HAD to pick a preference, who would it be?

I think Bender is the clear cut favorite for the majority of the forums #4 pick, Power Forward or not (at least that's what the poll in the draft thread indicates). I think it'd be more interesting if you took him out and put in Deyonta Davis or someone along those lines.

I think you have to take Bender. He looks to be in the mold of a Durant, Dirk type of player. Big time bust potential though.

Not a big fan of Bender, but I don't like Chriss or Ellenson enough to beat him like a prospect.

I don't see that at all...

Not sure if you were around yet, but we did a poll for the 13th pick a while pack and Chriss and Sabonis tied for first with 20 votes each. I can't remember for sure who was third, but it may have been Davis or Lu-WOW (or whatever that guys name is). Though Rabb may have been in it at the time too and come in third.

Where is Davis? I would take Bender if those were the only options but I think that Davis is the best fit for the team.

Draft Express now has Chriss at #3 to the Celtics!
What do they know that we don't?

You'd take Davis at 4?

There really isnt much difference in players between 3 and 30 as far as how far they are going to go (they are all going to be role players) so look for the skills you want. If I was sure he would be there at 13 I would say take someone else but up till today's DX mock it wasnt looking like it. In the case of Davis he is a tough defensive minded player who will rebound, block shots and hit a 15 ft. jump shot. I really want to see the Suns work to pick up that defensive mind set. If you look at the 90's Sonic teams you have a good idea as to what I am looking for the Suns to work towards on the defensive end. While I dont think Bledsoe is the glove I do think that he can proved that level of pressure if we have another player that can work with him on that. Maybe Brown but in the back I see Chandler, Len and Davis waiting if they split to the trap to spend the shot out.

Makes sense. I'd add him but it would reset the poll now and I'm guessing for now he'd have 1 or 2 votes, if saint like him more than every PF in the draft.

Davis shot 60% percent from the field but only 18 of his 199 attempts came outside of the painted area (none from deep). Hopefully he can hone a faceup game if he wants to stick at the 4, he averaged 4.1 block per 40 and he is nearly 7 foot so could slide over to the 5 as well.
