Lol how did we choose Murray Oh Bender was taken by Celtics already sorry didn't see it.

Anyways I'm going with Zhou Qi.

A lot of good options available. Pete Cornelie, Zhou Qi, Dejounte Murray, Guerschon Yabusele, DeAndre Bembry... This draft has a good bit of depth. I'll make my vote later, haven't decided.

I'll go with the Husky.

Man in this scenario we still don't have a PF in this draft. Gotta consider some other ones such as Cornelie, Bentil, Bolomboy, etc. I guess with these choices it's either Yabusele or Qi.

It will be funny if our board ends up taking Murray here and ends up with a raw pg and a combo guard with two of our first round picks this year and a wing and no bigs. It would almost be as if McD's forces are influencing the board.

In hindsight, I probably would have tilted it to Ellenson at 13 as he would have been the pick if not for a few last minute vote switches from people that just didn't want him, but right now he kind of feels like a no brainer at 13.

tough one. I like Johnson, Qi, Murray, and Ulis.

I take Sabonis at that spot in a heartbeat. Guaranteed rotation contributor, highly likely to be a quality start. Great rebounder, defender, low post scorer and glue guy. If we pass on Sabonis at 13 we will regret it. Sabonis will be a better Markieff. I even think his shooting will be good. His shooting out to 18 feet is excellent right now. No reason not to think he can expand it to the three point line.

I would love to take a look at Pat McCaw here, but i feel like his skill sets contradicts with Luwavu if we are taking him at 13. Maybe take a gamble at an athletic big man with potential like Stephen Zimmerman?

Bembry. He's too good to pass on. There's some 4s available but they're 2nd round talents for a reason. Bolomboy, Siakam, Johnson, Bentil..one should be there at 34.

I like Bentil here. there's no real development necessary. he'll be a legitimate NBA threat on the 2nd unit from all areas of the floor. i don't know if he'll ever be a great rebounder, but i think he'll be decent. he's sort of Mike Beasley-ish, but he does one thing well. that's better than Johnson, who i'm not sure will do anything well. also he's not a stretch 4, and we don't need another center.

i'd be all right with Bembry, but i have him going to the Pacers at 20. i feel like Thon will slip. as much as i loved watching his high school mix tape, he has a lot of flaws. he won't be ready to contribute to an NBA team for a while.

IMO you are giving to much importance to our needs. We have trades and FA like other options to get a good PF on our team, it has always been a big mistake to draft for need/fit and not for talent/upside.

Well I voted for both of those players that we took, so I like them. I am not saying draft for need over BPA with that post as I think Ellenson will probably be a better player than Luwawu and is pretty much higher on every board and mock anyway, so in hindsight I didn't vote for the BPA because I was too concerned with big unathletic white guy. This was before he came in and ran the court length 25 times in three minutes I believe, so my opinion has changed on him a bit.

I don't think there are really any free agent PFs that will be big difference makers that we will be able to sign. Trade for? Maybe.

if our draft goes this way, Suns are going to be a disaster - next season and at least 4 -5 seasons afterwards.
But if we're again picking guards in the lottery, got to go with a big guy here and I really dislike what i've seen in Zhou Qi - just don't seeing him surviving in the league long term (even short term is a question mark), so gotta go with stash guy like Petr Cornelie. Yabusele is just too small and there' s no way we' re not going with stash player here.

I like Thon maker best at #28, But If Not, defintely Brice johnson.

He reminds me somewhat of shaun marion with is gameplay and athleticism. Shooting style is similiar too.

What would be beyond amazing, would be if We took chriss at #4 and brice johnson at #13. And by no small miracle....They reach their highest ceilings and give us Stoudamire ( chriss) and marion (johnson)2.0.

I know that's asking a whole lot....But why not try? Get demetrius jackson or dejounte murray at #13.

Roll with Chriss/ Dejounte murray or Jackson/ Then my pick at #28 Brice Johnson.

I went with Patrick McCaw. I feel he has some of the most fixable weaknesses for a guy available so late in the draft. Although he is a guard but then again I wouldn't have gone with Murray at 4.
