Hey all. Kings fan here. Saw tumors about a possible trade interest by us in Bledsoe. Does anyone here have any info on this? Also anything on his health currently?
Thanks!

We will throw in Len too. But who do we take at 8 to be Bledsoe's successor? Dunn will be off the board and that may be too early for Baldwin/D.Murray/Jackson

Who do we take at 4 to be Bled's successor? Draft a power forward at 8 and 13?

In that scenario why not just take one of those latter two guys or Baldwin at 13? Then I wouldn't mind taking Davis at 8 because he may not make it to 13. Or Ellenson, but probably prefer Davis. Or if the other PF we pass on at 4 (if Boston also passes on him) slides all the way down to 4 then you can risk taking two risky prospects.

There's no way.
are you saying that's the rumored deal?
I don't think we're trading Bled for anything less than Boogie himself.

even if it was a Boogie trade, Bledsoe would be a deal breaker.
if he gets traded, then i have absolutely no compass with this team, and i'll be a lot less bold from then on.

Considering Bledsoe missed a whole years worth of games in his 3 seasons with us, I'd trade him for Boogie in a heartbeat. I'd do this deal too.

not straight up! Sacramento would never do that.
but what's the point of a Boogie deal if we're teaming him with Knight and Booker? maybe we can keep the 4th pick and pick Dunn or Murray? i don't know. just doesn't seem worth it without Bledsoe. i'd trade anyone else on the roster......i assume he's our most valuable player. (don't laugh at me, i'm getting sensitive. lol.)

There have been Bledsoe rumors for two years now. I do not believe any of them. Bledsoe has been the most visible advocate for the Suns this offseason and I doubt the Suns are interested in trading him for anything less than a proven, young all-star.

I think there is definitely at least a 13.3% chance we trade him. And if we draft a PG, that might go up to 14.7%.

I think Knight gets moved before Bledsoe.
Eric was acquired as a franchise cornerstone, while Knight was a band aid, like-for-like swap to try and keep an overachieving team on the winning track. The winning is now a thing of the past and I can see us jettisoning the guys we acquired to maintain that, so we can commit to the rebuild. Same reason I think Leuer might not be back.
Lastly, Eric's skills complement Booker, whereas Knight's skills overlap significantly. Knight provided little at the end of last season when paired with Booker, whereas Bledsoe's has proven to be valuable in any number of combinations.
Knight has the potential to be a very solid player, but he's no fit as a starter on this young team. He needs to be paired with a ball dominant Sg ala Wade/ Harden/ Butler.

I am actually excited to see Bledsoe play this year. I think IF he can stay healthy (I know that's a big IF), then he will be just starting to hit his prime, and he seems focused, to love Watson, it sounds like people will buy into what Watson's selling, and I love that Watson is saying if you want to be a PG, you're going to pass, and if you don't move the ball you'll sit.

I'd like for Bledsoe to get his biannual year of being completely healthy, increase his trade value to/beyond pre-injury levels, and sell high at deadline/next offseason for a draft pick and hopefully more.
If he can stay healthy I wouldn't be against keeping him either. This just feels like a bad time to trade him, and I'm not a huge fan of this draft.
