It took a while...had to get their spurs depth chart and then find out likely starters from one of their forums. They were also mad it wasn't going to be on league pass and they couldn't watch until someone figured out it would be on suns.com.

I don't see why they'd start David Lee but Murray might also be too raw too start. They don't have many options. Never heard of the guys I have listed as reserves.

I think that the Spurs have an interesting group of young guys, I like Kyle Anderson and I think he can be an starting player in this league.

Murray is raw, but he is talented too and Patricio Garino is the prototypical 3 and D wing who does not make mistakes and is very coachable. High IQ too.

I actually am shocked that Booker is starting. I know Knight implied he was okay with coming off the bench, I didn't think it'd be right from the get go.

Watson knows that Booker can be an star and you do not put players with that level in the bench when you want to give them confidence.

Ahh...and the most important thing is that Booker is better than Knight at playing basketball. Not in the future...NOW. That is a big reason.

Hopefully all the rookies get a lot of time. I'm more concerned with watching them.

idk.....is Booker ready now? let's find out. i feel for Knight - he still hasn't gotten a chance to show what he's capable of when healthy.

still, i think we officially have the most talented 6th man in the league. so that's good.

I was actually a little bit worried about TJ being a starter with PJ out until the scrimmage game - it's been a long time since he played and foot injuries are no joke. You often see players being tentative, hesitant when they don't trust that foot, so I'm happy that TJ is just getting back to it.

I also like what Watson said about the decision to start Booker over Knight - basically, why sit there and wait for some goofy inner-competition? Just be a man, make the choice and live with it. I honestly wonder if Ken Whisenhunt had done the same and started Leinart after Warner retired, would his career have gone a different direction?
