I'm watching UFC 205. Even Suns basketball can't stop me from watching this stacked card.

Never really watched it much. What are the big fights and who you got in them? I can't believe you'd find something more exciting out there than a Suns/Nets game.

Was it or is it any good? I was thinking about checking out but never did as I don't know much, or really anything, about the guys fighting tonight.

Great time to tune in.

Has been a pretty good card. Quite a few finishes. Two title fights to come... including Conor.

Wow, I thought he was going to snap the guy's head off after that hold following the barrage of punches.

I was yelling at the telly. That should have been stopped but Dan let em fight.

Tyron gonna be very angry if he loses.

That decision was as close as it can possibly get without being a draw. And then a crazy revision. I only saw the last three rounds, but I thought Woodley was the clear winner. I never understand the 10-9 deal, and 10-8 being really bad. I mean what's the point of having 10 points at all. That 4th round was a domination.

10-8s are really rare, and only happen when someone dominates the other for 5 minutes.

The experts mostly had it going to Woodley. Only a couple for Wonderboy. I wouldn't have been mad either way, but Dan really should have stopped that fight after Tyron flattened him.

I know 10-8s are rare, considering I have watched a lot of boxing, and there it requires a knockdown, but here that was much more than a knockdown. I'm just saying that if that is the worst score a guy can get for surviving a round, then that old scoring system should just be revised to where you can award a player 1 or 2 points for winning a round without having 1-10 points as a possibility.

If there's one guy who could probably push themselves to make the 145 cut, it's Conor.

But I get the sense the whole two belt thing was a bit of a novelty for 205 and Dana will make him give up the 145 belt.

Who is Dana?

Who is Dana?

Dana White, the guy who runs the whole show. The UFC was sold a few months back but they retained Dana because he is absolutely obsessed with the UFC and his job. He helps make all the fights... decides punishments... gives out the bonuses etc.

What odds will someone give me for Yoel popping? He looked utterly jacked. Like... Lesnar-esque in his jackedness.

I'll jump in here once I've watched it. Been at Surfer's paradise for the weekend and didn't manage to catch the card. Saw the results though!

There isn't a challenge at 145 anymore. There's no reason for Conor to ever go back down there. The only contender down there he hasn't fought is Frankie but Frankie already lost to Aldo so it doesn't make sense for Conor to go down to 145 to fight the contenders.

I think they would've for sure set up a Wonderboy v Conor fight if Wonderboy had won. That's an awesome stylistic match up and neither would try and grapple (unlike Khabib or Tyrone).

Did you read about Rashad Evans first not getting licensed by NYSAC and now his bout on 206 is scrapped because he's the Ontario SAC isn't giving him a license to fighter either.

If Suga doesn't getting licensed how does guys like Lil Nog and BJ get licensed?
