3. BK. Best player on the Suns, possibly the best player in the NBA.
2. Len. Finally found himself in a bench role.
1. PJ. Offensively gave us something and HUGE O-board in the clutch.

HM: JD for his hype and consistent play.

+3 Duds: smart, controlled, great influence for our young boys
+2 Len: he's starting to bring it every night, cutting down his touches really helped him as a player
+1 PJ: every game that PJ hits more threes than misses, it's a dream for any suns fan.

About Knight... he's just Jamal Crawford's esque... on good nights he'll lift your bench play... on bad nights, you just want to kill him.
Most scorers off the bench have the same profile, but it's hard to be amazed by this type of basketball.

Another tough one. Knight had 14 points in 5 minutes in the first quarter, but it's tough to compliment a guy that shot 6/18.

+3: Dudley (this was easy)
+2: PJ (helped us started the game well, which was big)
+1: Knight

Barbosa and Len deserve some props too.

Guys, check out the standings in the OP, I've added some pretty cool stuff.

You can now see which player is running hot and which player is running cold in their last 5 games.

You will also see the season long graph for those players and how they are trending.

Lord have mercy when we make a trade tho, I have so many unnamed ranges.

I fixed up the issue with the hosting of the images so you should see a beautiful picture of Mr. Nash himself.

edit: false alarm, no i didn't

double edit: i think it's fixed.

+3 Len: 9 boards. 3/4 shooting (would have been 4/5 if Dudley hadn't committed that offensive foul). 2 blocks and a steal. Good game and he makes a difference just being out there.
+2 Dudley: Consistent and probably our smartest basketball player. Moving him to the bench has probably been Watson's best move so far.
+1 Knight: He had a really good 1st quarter. If he could have continued that, he'd be higher. As is, he's lucky he's here at all.

I wish Booker came to play right out of the gate instead of just the end of games. It was nice to see Chriss not committing 100 fouls tonight which gives me hope. Did Tyler Ulis piss in Watson's cheerios?

+3 Tucker
+2 Dudley
+1 Len

Feels so good to win on the backs of Tucker and Dudley. Just what this team needs. Even Knight chipped in. Our future with these guys looks bright.

Did you run out of green ink? I know what you mean but our young guys, all our guys, are so handcuffed when Tucker doesn't make them pay for ignoring or loosely guarding him. Last night, he started off the game making them pay for that. In the long run that has to be good for Bledsoe, Knight, Booker and anyone else looking to face off against just one defender. I haven't seen that kind of play from Tucker since our 48 win season. If PJ can perform like a slightly below average player on offense, we have a chance to win some games.

I love the way Tucker is playing, and I hope the type of effort he puts in shows a good example for Bender and Chriss to learn from. While that kind of effort led to a win, if that's the way those guys think about it...that's what it takes to win, than that is all good.

So I hope that kind of watching and learning is going on for the young guys. Because outside of that, having Tucker and Dudley lead us to wins when we obviously are not going anywhere isn't necessarily a good thing. There are many positives you can take from it though, like what I just mentioned and also for his trade value.

But unless they are learning from it and he is gaining value and will be traded, I'm not sure them leading us to wins helps in any other capacity necessarily.

I'm really torn on this. Like I said, having Tucker play like an NBA player makes it possible for the other guys around him to succeed. But I'm not thrilled with idea of us winning games right now. I'm not at all a "tank" person but I salivate every time I think of the possibility of putting a starting lineup out there next year of Ball, Booker, Warren, Bender and Len (or Markkanen if we can trade for another lottery pick).
