Your favorite Suns mod is back guys! Shout out to Bdub, BigK, Fishy, & Batman for holding the place together while I was vacationing. While I was gone, I was able to snag a Suns ugly sweater so I'm set on ugly Christmas sweater parties for the next half decade. I also got myself the coveted Devin Booker black jersey, however I'm still waiting for FedEx to deliver it. Got the girlfriend a purple Booker jersey. Happy holidays everyone!

Should be fun to watch D'Antoni run his SSOL offense against our current Suns juggernaut squad!

If anyone is confused, we are having a joint game thread for this one. Please make sure you are respectful.

I hope Watson gave homework to the guys to watch the Spurs-Rockets game to find out how to guard them and the 3-ball.

Are we the worst team defending the threes? The Rockets have a lot of great shooters, this one can be ugly.

I would love to have Ryan Anderson on the Suns, he is one of the best stretch four in the league.

This is an open invitation to a shared game thread. :o
Just so you guys know I have very low tolerance for bwgood77.

But I'm in Suns territory, so more likely I'll get my ass kicked.

"Dragan Bender, to me, is key for us,'' Watson said on the Doug & Wolf show. "We have to find time for him to take steps forward."

A 7-1 forward, Bender has averaged 11.4 minutes in 22 games. He did not play in Monday's loss at Minnesota.

"Love Bender,'' Watson said after Tuesday's practice. "We have to find a way to get him in the game."

Ok, if Watson is saying that we know for sure that Bender is not gonna play a single minute tonight.

Just for fun, we should trade Tyson to the Rockets at halftime.

I don't understand how Watson can say things like this. Isn't he the one who decides who plays in the game? If he wants desperately to get Bender some minutes, put him in the **** game!

PJ has dirt on Earl. Earl want to play dragan, but if he does then the truth comes out.

I always like to hedge my bet when I make predictions but I feel pretty confident that you should have said "will get ugly" rather than "can be ugly". The Rockets aren't the same team now with Nene trying to run that pick and roll with Harden but they are still well out of our league even if they sleepwalk for a quarter or three.

No he doesn't determine who plays. He is a "yes man".

So like a halftime trade ceremony? I don't think we'd get many rebounds in the second half.

The weirdest thing is that McD AND Watson say it and then he still doesn't play. Maybe it's their fool proof strategy of convincing anyone who is listening that they REALLY want to play Bender but Tucker is SOOOO good we just can't afford to sit him for much at all. He is SOOO valuable to a team!

Lol. Why don't they get him a bunch of mins in the D league? In game experience helps develop these young guys. I understand most of the development happens in practice. I don't know the Suns practice schedule during the season but I am sure a bunch of them are walk throughs.

I'm happy for D'Antoni. I remember this offseason going to Clutchfans and seeing them collectively gnash their teeth over hiring him, but I was just thinking, "Y'all are going to be surprised. Harden and D'Antoni are a match made in heaven. The defense might not be great, but that offense will be amazing."
