Are the Suns a playoff team in the Eastern Conference?

Simple enough question, if the Suns were in the Eastern Conference, would we be a playoff team?
We are currently 11-7 against the Eastern Conference this year (6-30 against the Western Conference). We've beaten the Pistons, smashed the Pacers in Indy, lost a close one in D.C, beat the Hawks, Knicks, Raptors x 2, had a close loss to the defending champs (and another), and just beat the Bulls.
What are your thoughts? Have we just been getting lucky, or is the Eastern Conference just weaker than the West?

Spoiler:
Personally, I'm not sure. I think we'd be on the bubble, somewhere close to the Heat and Hornets in terms of record.

You could double the East record and half the West record.

So East 22-14 / West 3-15 = 25-29

we'd be 8th seed.

I really believe we would be right around a .500 team and be in line for the 7th or 8th spot. And who knows once you start winning a little it builds confidence and might push up to the 6th seed or even 5th. The east has gotten better the last few years but still very inferior top to bottom compared to the west.

No, because we'd still have almost half our games (30) against the west. We are just randomly inconsistent.

Cool, that is roughly where I pegged them to be.
