Suns Fans Big Board

6. Jonathan Isaac
5. De'Aaron Fox

Shutting it down; calling it. We are essentially in agreement with the pundits. I guess that's to be expected.

Re: Who do you NOT want the Suns to draft at #4?
I voted DSJ because I perceive the risk to be too great. A ball dominant PG could really mess up our chemistry if things don't gel. With Ulis on board already, I also don't like the idea of adding a pure point. I haven't been impressed by his interviews. There's the injury history. There's the similarity to Bledsoe which begs the question, why not just keep Bledsoe? Just too many bright yellow flags for me.

Re: Who do you NOT want the Suns to draft at #4?
Zach Collins and Lauri Markkanen.
They would be a good pick in the early teens, but at #4 any from these two players would be a reach.
Not to mention that they are gonna need around two or three years to probably be solid contributors in the NBA, the game is gonna be so fast for them being 7 footers without elite athleticism.
I do not want to hear for the next four years again the sentence "bigs take more time to develop"....please no.

Re: Who do you NOT want the Suns to draft at #4?
Ball would be #1 Prospect I don't want but he wasn't listed!! Ball nearly plays hot potato with the ball, hasn't shown ability to drive, questionable jumpshot, limited midrange game, small build like Fox, has trouble getting over line against elite defenders, and picks up his dribble a bit too much!!
Frank I just don't have gamefilm on.
Everybody else listed here I wouldn't be disappointed though I'd like to know the kind of Trade packages thrown around (Bledsoe) before eliminated PG position from consideration.

Definitely Isaac, Monk would be another candidate and I would agree that Collins and Markanen are reaches at 4, but I still would prefer them over Isaac

I don't think you can call most of these prospects a reach. If you like someone, draft them. Would Devin Booker be considered a reach now? Nash? Anthony Bennett?
"Mannnnn I’m like the guy that pissed this whole board off saying literally all year no Mikal, no Mikal in the KD trade."

I don´t think any of Lauri, Zach or Frank are in the play for top-5 pick. From guys I´ve seen mentioned, I really don´t want Monk. Not a pg, terrible fit with Booker and overall just a pure scorer/shooter. Fox I also would not understand picking. DSJ, JJ, Isaac and Taytum I´m fine with.

Re: Who do you NOT want the Suns to draft at #4?
Everyone besides Jackson and Tatum. But especially Zach Collins.
SHAZAM!
Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Thank you, gentlesir, for allowing me to complete a round of voting. Now everyone stand, we'll remove a chair, and let the rumors swirl!

Re: Who do you NOT want the Suns to draft at #4?
I have a feeling Lonzo Ball could drop to Suns; I'd be excited to be proven wrong, again!! I didn't watch Booker at all at Kentucky and didn't like the stat sheet - most of games watched that year were U of A (Rondae Hollis-Jefferson) games. I figured Booker was just jump-shooter and this year I've only got 4 games of UCLA - Ball is elite passer, with added weight could play 3 positions, fills up stat sheet, excellent rebounder that can grab ball and go, not afraid to take big shot, etc. If he can improve scoring offensively at all 4 levels and can probe defenses better - I'd not worry about his dad, at all!!

Lauri has long been rumored to go 7th and if you're in the running at 7 I don't see why you wouldn't be considered to be in play for a top 5 pick too. And, at times this season, he has been very much in the running for top 5. His inconsistency down the stretch coupled with a poor showing in the Xavier game has dropped him on most mocks to the 10 range but I'll bet that changes as more and more teams work him out. I'd bet against him being there at the 8th pick and I'd be shocked if Zach's workouts match up with the high valuation he's currently receiving.
