I always find it puzzling that Suns fans don't know who they want.
We don't seem to want Kyrie Irving all that badly.
We don't seem to want DeMarcus Cousins that much.
So who DO we want?

When I get some responses, I'll make a poll with the most noted players. Then we can determine who we all want the most.
If possible, keep it to players that aren't currently considered untouchable. You never know what they might want when they hit the free agent market, so make it clear that you would prefer to chase after them once they hit free agency.

I'll start with Rudy Gobert or DeAndre Jordan.

It would be great if we had a great rebounder and rim protector on whom we could count. Our center situation isn't great.

well, one could say I left an opening there. but yeah.

I really do think we could eventually acquire Davis or Towns or Jokic. I was hoping some guys would be obvious in their untouchability or low likelihood of acquisition, but.....whatever. It's all good.

You never know who is untouchable these days

No one right now. There's no one worth it, and the team isn't ready to compete with that missing piece anyway, which means even if the Suns did trade for a star, that star would undoubtedly leave for a better team and market.

In 2019 if it's clear the Pelicans are going nowhere or Davis asks for a trade, then that's the guy you go after hard.

That's almost exactly what I was thinking. If we become competitive with our core, when e becomes a free agent he would be the perfect target.

I'll play within the set parameters. I consider most teams have at least 1 untouchable player, maybe two, so i will leave them off the list (Usually the teams best 2 players). I also have left off the list ANY 2017 1st round pick, as most team will not trade them so soon. I also am fine with our current options at SG/SF/PF, so i have narrowed my list to PG's and C's and a few bench players.

you know, come to think, I'd rather have Bledsoe than any of these guys. French Frank wouldn't be such a bad return by any means.....or if we could keep him. I would be fine letting him retire a Sun, especially if it means he gets to go to the playoffs. That would be swell.
