Unless the game is in December, I plan on attending the game in Charlotte.
I had plans to go to Phoenix/Las Vegas in March but that may be in jeopardy.

We can start the season with two wins at home. We receive The Blazers and the Lakers.

Knicks and Bulls have no TNT games? How is that possible?

It's strange. 7 eastern teams don't have any TNT games. All western teams have at least 1.

The fact that we have more games than Toronto is surprising.

I think you have to consider just how garbage the east is. We're going to be playing teams considered to be better than us just about every night. Miami has like 4 teams that are better than them out east.

That being said, I still think we surprise a lot of people this season.
Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

It's not hyperbole at all to qualify the Eastern conference as AAA or a minor league to the West. It's now an undeniable fact.
...And it's not just the talent disparity between West and East...it's the stories, the personalities and the team v. team intrigue. West teams have far better/more sub plots then any team East teams beyond the Cleveland Lebrons or the Boston Assets.

It will always be a combination of two things.

Inverse relationship to standings, but then you have to account for conferences as well, which throws things off a bit. Obviously the best team (or projected best) will have the easiest schedule (within that conference) because they don't have to play themselves, and on down the line.

So, given the fact the Cavs were the best Eastern team, and the east is weak, they get an easy schedule. Miami probably figures to finish between 4th and 7th (though I've seen them picked as high as 3rd), so they will be up there.

Us, being the projected worst team in the toughest conference, of course end up with the toughest schedule.

-The difference between PHX and Cleveland is like .48 v .51 ...what does this mean?

-How can any East team's schedule be considered anywhere close to as tough or tougher than a West team's schedule. WTF! And according to this chart it's completely mixed as to West versus East as far as SOS.

-Someone please share a link as to how these numbers were derived ...seems highly suspect on the surface

Really? You think the Suns ranking in this thing as having the toughest schedule is due to the Suns being a very poor team? If true, I don't get the value...then again, I don't even understand how assigning SOS before the season would work...doesn't everybody in the West/East have to play (pretty much) the same schedule as every other team?

EDIT: I guess it makes sense that Phoenix's and Golden State's SOS ratings get oppo ratings 'cuz the Suns have to play the Dubs 4 times rather than getting to beat-up Phoenix, and GSW gets PHX 4 times instead of battling themselves....In the end, a pretty much pointless numbers display.
