EDIT: Denzel Valentine

changed my pick within 15 min. If this is not ok, I'll change it back.

Well guys, I'd love to finish the draft, but I think I should wait a little longer because Mathias might need to change his mind again.

I'll take Kelly Oubre Jr.
Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Is the waiver wire going to be reverse of the draft?

It's currently set to reverse of the final round but I have no idea if it should be.

Yes, it should be given that there were only five draft rounds, three of which started with worst record. Obviously with incoming rookies, the reverse standings draft order gave a massive advantage to the tankers, but getting the advantage in an extra round as well was another advantage. So with the odd number of rounds, that waiver order makes even more sense than a reverse draft order waiver order typically does.

This is the first league I've been in where there are max game limits per position. Definitely makes it harder and puts more strategy in this thing.

Really?

That's standard for roto leagues. Head to head you don't typically have game limits, but roto does 95% of the time..

Or maybe he didn't know it was a roto league. He took over Calvin Klein's team, but I'm not sure if we discussed what type of league it was.

Yeah I knew this was a roto league when I signed up, but then again I've only ever done 1 roto league ever. I always do head to head.

Not knocking it, just something I've never really gotten into. Excited for this season, hopefully between this and my G-League team I can make some noise.

Do we have the results of the polls?

Lotto passes 12-1.

Expansion to 8 keepers also passes 10-4.

Both will be in effect in the 18/19 season.

Inactivity rule - applies for the 2018/19 lottery and beyond
In the event that a player is 27 games or more short of maxing their games played (3 games per position) they will be demoted to the next lowest lottery tier. The highest seeded player from the lower tier will be promoted in their place.

Just a reminder. 82*9 = 738. 738-27 = 711. Anyone under the 711 GP threshold come season's end will be demoted to the next tier.

If you are "on pace" to finish the season maxing out every slot you should be at about 640 games played at the moment. Anyone below that should probably start streaming guys to avoid the inactivity/tanking penalty.

Inactivity/ tanking penalties from the previous season & 2018/19 lottery tiers:

The following 4 players were below the 711 game threshold:

4. Qwigglez 698 (already in bottom tier - no penalty)
1. Balls Deep 689 (already in bottom tier - no penalty)
15. Harden Nuff For Ya 660 (demoted to tier 2)
15. Kenny's Best Team 649 (demoted to tier 2)

In the event that a manager is not returning for next season, this penalty will be waived for the incoming manager.

Tier 1
14. Three 6 Latvia
13. Waxed On
12. Wordsenuff
11. The Foxy Ones
Tier 2
15. Kenny's Best Team
15. Harden Nuff For Ya
10. LBC Ballers
9. Boogie Nights
Tier 3
8. All I Do Is Lin
7. Ulquiorra
6. No 'I' in Harden
5. WeekapaugGroove
Tier 4
4. Qwigglez
3. bwgood77's Team
2. Lillard Time
1. Balls Deep

Anyone have any proposals/ ideas for rules to introduce in the 2019/2020 season? Would be best to vote before the start of this season :)

I can't think of any new rule proposal.
