The Official Mike James Fan Club
Welcome. All who apply will be accepted. Be forewarned that we will be loathed at first, while our own precious Ascendent Second Sun Having Overwhelmingly Lin-like Effects makes his slow but inevitable rise.
SO. First item on the agenda. I propose a resolution, that Mike James should start and play 30 minutes a game. Do I have a second?

Re: The Mike James Fan Club
Why? Because of a few preseason games? You just want to bench Bledsoe? It seems so easy to cast aside quality players. First it's wanting to have DJJ on our team more than TJ in 2 years time, and now starting Mike James over Bledsoe?

I like Mike James. He shouldn't see the floor unless we're getting blown out and it's the last 4-5 mins of the game. Developing Ulis is more important than James, but I'll 100% take Mike James over a useless veteran like Ronnie Price.

Re: The Mike James Fan Club
Right now I am in agreement with Watson who said there are only two definite starters in Bledsoe and Booker and rotation players are still up in the air. James definitely should get a fair opportunity to be the backup. If he wins a spot over Ulis by being more productive on the court then he should play. Last year Ulis had a poor plus/minus (-4.0 for his time on the court. That has carried over to this preseason (-16, -19, -12). James on the other hand has done a really, really good job this preseason (+14, DNP, +9).
However, if Bledsoe continues with his history of a poor assist-to-turnover ratio then it is time to move on and trade him. Either Ulis or James can fight for the starting spot or even let Booker run as the starting PG.

I like him too, but don't really want him starting and playing 30 minutes a game or taking away scoring opportunities from a lot of the young guys who are developing and need shots, whether they make or miss.
I do prefer him to Price, Goodwin and Knight though.

Does anyone want him starting and playing 30 minutes a game?

Can we be in as a nice 14th/15th man on an NBA roster?
No way you can be serious about wanting him starting and playing 30 mpg yet...
That is unless you're already for tanking, which honestly doesn't sound like that bad of an idea...

I think there is chance for James to make that slow inevitable rise like PJ Tucker did. James looks like he has the same attitude and confidence as PJ in a smaller body. BTW ... nice acronym.

I like Mike James, he is the perfect third string PG.
He can change the pace of a game and he is a good insurance for injuries or future trades... the guy can play a bigger role if needed.

I don't like Mike James but the confidence in your words and aura of wisdom leaves me no choice but to join this cult/fan club.

Mike James right now is the playing the best by any PG on our roster. He also hustles, and is a hard worker.
Mike James is only 27. I think he would be a good 2nd team PG.

Re: The Official Mike James Fan Club
I'd still give Ulis his opportunity for awhile Kerrsed before we just went to James. It is still preseason and he is looking good mostly against scrubs.
