Things looking good in Philly.
But WTF Washington??? Orlando has ZERO reason to win. None! They should want to lose. Yet Washington is losing.

Lol the Bucks are getting blown out, and of course both MIA and WSH are going to lose. Of course.

you are very unlucky that the whole conference is tanking. 15th and 16th pick would be able to get you the 9th pick in this draft.

Wiz only down 1 going into the 4th quarter against the Magic... Magic tank if there was ever a time to engage, it's now

Yeah, just came to say both the Wiz and Heat games have gotten close.

How did Washington become so bad the last 10 games? Does Wall make you that much worse?

Bucks Lose
Miami wins and Wizards lose
Do we still get pick?
Form my understanding is Bucks hold the tie breaker with one of them.

Coin flip I believe.
So 50-50 chance if that happens.

Tie breaker doesn't matter for draft, it's a coin flip. If Heat win and Bucks lose they're tied for 16/17, so we'll only get their pick if the Bucks "win" the tiebreaker coin flip after the season. Otherwise we just get the Heat at 16.

Wow, came here to figure out if the Suns would be getting the picks since the Bucks lost and Miami is likely going to win. Didn't realize it would be determined by a freaking coin flip. Crazy.

Yup, shout out to the Wiz for finishing the season 3-7 with 3 losses against the Magic, Bulls, and Hawks lol

Yup. 50/50 16-17 instead of 15-16...eh 15 vs 17 so In actuality we only lose one spot if we win the coin flip.
No difference. Just win the flip.

What if we lose the coin flip? What is the protection on the pick next year?

1-3 and 17-30 in 2019
1-7 in 2020
unprotected in 2021
So most likely it's going to be a late 1st in 2020 if we lose the coin flip

The Suns...never win coin flips, though I guess it's a random draw now. Figures we have 11-16 and 48-60 from them and it will likely land 17/47.
I still think I'd rather have the pick, but don't feel that strongly..since at least it's a future asset. I just think it gives us potential options...like taking a more ready guy with one mid 1st pick and then a guy like Mitchell Robinson which you have no clue about...not sure he will last that long though.
Kind of reminds me of Amare year when Phil Weber told me they really like Amare....meanwhile Gambo was saying he thought we should take Jared Jeffries. I think we even took Amare higher than consensus at 9 so Mitchell could got at 11-15 if a team really likes him. A team like the Clips could take a ready now player and him since they have two picks earlier.
