Nashty - Game 22 vs Bulls

Post#1 » by bwgood77 » Wed Nov 29, 2017 3:08 am

Standings

How it works
Spoiler:
After each Suns game, an MVP thread will be opened for you to vote for your top 3 players. These threads can be created by anyone, as long as there isn't currently a thread for that game.

Anyone can vote for the 3-2-1 (including other fans from other forums) but you can only vote for the Suns players (or coach).

3 votes to who you think was a the best Suns player.
2 for the second best
and 1 for the 3rd best.

**EDIT: as of January something-or-other 2017, you can now distribute votes for the Nashty and Cactus however you please. You have a total of 6 votes to give out, but now you have the freedom to do what you want with those 6. The only condition which applies is no more than 3 votes can be given to one player (or coach) in either award. **

In the event of a Suns loss, you are also encouraged to vote for the Cactus of the game:

-3 votes for the player most responsible for the loss
-2 votes for the second most responsible
-1 for the third most responsible

Any votes with more than 3 players listed and not in the required format will not count. Voting will close before the start of the next Suns game.

After the thread closes, the votes will be tallied. The highest scoring total Sun gets 3 points, the next 2, and the third gets 1 point towards their season total. In the event of a tie in a count for a game, if the result of the game is a Suns win, a maximum of 4 players will be awarded points. A tie in the event of a loss will only result in a maximum of 3 players getting awarded points.

The player with the highest total at season's end wins the award!

The same applies for the Cactus of the Year, although of course the lowest tally at year's end takes it.

+2 Book
+2 Len
+2 Warren

Book almost worth 3 but the D was a little weak overall, with Holiday (who sucks) lighting him up, but also hard to give just 1 to either Len or Warren. 18 boards for Len along with 12 points and Warren playing 40 minutes with a +8 playing good on both sides of the ball with 25 on 50% shooting and 7 boards.

+3 Booker. Terrific game and a lot of highlights. He dominated the Bulls.
+2 Warren. Another day at the office for him. 25 points, 7 rebounds and solid defense.
+1 Len. Really good game, he rebounded the ball like a man tonight. We need this Len in more games.

Honorable Mention to Ulis who played a good game too.

+1 Len - 13/18 off the bench. Played a huge part in that 57/41 rebounding advantage over the Bulls. Always good to see him have a good game
+1 Booker - 33 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assist is a great line even while shooting 10/23 with 3TO's. Also great block in the final minute
+1 TJ - Another efficient 25/7 with 4 O boards. Can't be shooting 1-5 from the 3 when you're wide open
+1 Ulis - Best game so far this season. Looked aggressive on offense and had a great steal and assist in the 2nd half
+1 1FGM - 2 FGM but logged 7 nice dimes
+1 Triano - for riding the grabby hands of Len
