For this one game against a struggling Wizards team. I think I'll wait until Booker's return to see if there was any progress during this period.

Missing Booker time.

Warren finds it hard to be the no.1 as the defense tightens in the last 5 minutes.

Good effort, but we are the worse team.
Beal alone can beat us. Terrific player, better than Wall IMO.

I agree.
He made 3 consecutive mistakes at 96-98.

3 opportunities to score in transition and after that a 0-9 run for the Wizards.

Everyone thought we had no chance against anyone, and this Wizards team despite missing Wall, is still a decent team with good players. Our players mostly played well. If James wasn't 1-9, we are probably in it at the end.

It's tough when iso scoring isn't really a strength of his. His strength is scoring off ball movement and when our team doesn't have great ball movement or competent point guards, it stops him from being able to take over.

Went to this one...couple things that stood out for me-
Ulis threw the ball away way too much. Don't know if he was pressing or just that he is a mediocre passer at best. In fact, the whole team struggled to take care of the ball. This could be attributed to no one being used to having the ball that much.

Jackson looked decent, although he needs to figure out the free throw line soon.

Monroe could have scored a lot more. Gortat took the night off mentally.

Len goes in and out of being engaged in the game. When he was focused, he seemed to get every rebound he wanted.

Chriss looked engaged for most of the game.

Bender and James were complete non-factors.

Didn't get to watch the game but judging from the box score it looks like Warren and Monroe played well. I am really liking Monroe a lot and I wouldn't mind keeping in around for a while. In 24 minutes it is inexcusable for Chriss to only have 2 rebounds. And has bender played himself out of the rotation? Only 7 minutes. Also box score looks like ullis played ok but judging from these comments sounds like typical Tyler ullis lol

I think Dragan is playing himself out of the rotation. I hope he's willing to put in the time this summer to get stronger, more comfortable. He works harder on both ends when he's able to handle the ball a bit on offense, and I think his ability to do that will depend on him adding some muscle.

It looks like it, and I am a big Dragan fan. That mask is not helping.

I like Dragan and Chriss and Len, although I have written them off as possible 2nd options....Just 3 D Bender and rebound the ball with good outlet passing.

JJ is in the clock now.

Suns PGs bring the team down.

Mike James kicked the ball out and blames a team mate.. you hack.

Ulis nails 3s then tries to do fancy passes out of bounds CONSECUTIVE plays *slow clap

He stepped up as the #1 last time they played. Tougher to step up as a #1 though when there are fewer scoring options. Easier for Book to step up with Warren around and Warren to step up with Booker around, but when one is out, the opposing defense can throw most all their attention on one guy.

For sure, it’s definitely harder but that’s what Warren will have to do. Kinda like how Beal has stepped up lately without Wall despite the added attention or how LMA has done this season without Kawhi etc.

It’s gonna be a challenge but hopefully he’s ready for it.
