Nashty & Cactus: Game 30 vs Raptors

Standings

How it works
Spoiler:
After each Suns game, an MVP thread will be opened for you to vote for your top 3 players. These threads can be created by anyone, as long as there isn't currently a thread for that game.

Anyone can vote for the 3-2-1 (including other fans from other forums) but you can only vote for the Suns players (or coach).

3 votes to who you think was a the best Suns player.
2 for the second best
and 1 for the 3rd best.

**EDIT: as of January something-or-other 2017, you can now distribute votes for the Nashty and Cactus however you please. You have a total of 6 votes to give out, but now you have the freedom to do what you want with those 6. The only condition which applies is no more than 3 votes can be given to one player (or coach) in either award. **

In the event of a Suns loss, you are also encouraged to vote for the Cactus of the game:

-3 votes for the player most responsible for the loss
-2 votes for the second most responsible
-1 for the third most responsible

Any votes with more than 3 players listed and not in the required format will not count. Voting will close before the start of the next Suns game.

After the thread closes, the votes will be tallied. The highest scoring total Sun gets 3 points, the next 2, and the third gets 1 point towards their season total. In the event of a tie in a count for a game, if the result of the game is a Suns win, a maximum of 4 players will be awarded points. A tie in the event of a loss will only result in a maximum of 3 players getting awarded points.

The player with the highest total at season's end wins the award!

The same applies for the Cactus of the Year, although of course the lowest tally at year's end takes it.

Last 5 games in next thread.

Some pretty good performances tonight. Just.... not a W.

This is actually tough for Nashty's because three players had great games. I thought I'd give Daniels 3 but Ulis with 16 on 75% shooting, 8 assists and 5 boards, is just as impressive, but Monroe was good mostly too...had some turnovers. I think I have to go...

Daniels +2.5
Ulis +2.5
Monroe +1

Jackson -3
Chriss -2
Warren -1

+3 Daniels - Booker-lite
+1 Ulis - Solid stat line, especially the 8 assist on 0 TO's. Team worst -17 is not good though
+1 Len - good game for him. Shot well and I thought his defense was good today.
+1 Bender - a little more aggressive with his shooting which I liked seeing but thank god the Raptor's bench sucked otherwise his impact would look much less signficant.

Cactus
-3 Jackson - Just a horrible stat line. For his level of activity, 1 rebound in 22min of action doesn't really make sense. I'll give him props for his effort on defense though; solid fundamentals
-2 Chriss - his attitude still sucks, still picking up ticky tack fouls and when he's not hitting shots, he really doesn't contribute much else
-1 TJ - Inefficient scoring game, only 3 rebounds and was in foul trouble for much of the game. Oh also another hit to the head... This is YOUR time TJ, use it!

Honorable mention to Bender. You could see he came in with energy. Drove to the basket a couple times. Tried to post up. Some nice passes and a block. A couple chase down rebounds. His energy level fell a bit in the 2nd half when our PG's wouldn't give him the ball and he went back to sitting in the corner. I have faith in him and liked what I saw. Maybe it was the dark shoes.

Fun drinking game: Take a drink every time Chriss shakes his head.
