Dave King during the presser calling Ayton Joel Embid on accident. He was not thrilled, lol. SMH.

It was because Dave King was gonna ask a question about Joel.

He obviously needs more work, but I think Sean Miller prepared him well for the perimeter-oriented league by sticking him at the 4 spot.

Even though it was kind of a dick move to a guy that just got drafted, I'm kind of glad Embiid tweeted that out, because I think Ayton will take it personally and it will provide A LOT of extra motivation to prove himself on that side of the ball.

Great interview. It's interesting they are going to invite Miller to training camp and stuff.

Jack....I literally just came here to post that! Wolf said the same exact thing this AM. If that doesn't fire you up, nothing will.

I was surprised Dave would bring that up in the first place...basically you just get drafted and an All NBA guy tweets about your defense and in a positive press conference, Dave not only proceeds to bring that up but calls him Joel. And King was really really high on Ayton. Ayton probably not very high on Dave King.

His answer at the press conference was AWESOME to me. I am SO glad he didn't jab back or even make a joke. Shows that he is a fun guy off the court, but when it comes to basketball, he just wants to play. Embiid is a clown (and yes, talented). Ayton was correct in just saying he didn't have a response. Go dunk on Embiid's a**, AYTON! It's amazing how much faster and more agile Ayton is compared to watching Embiid (at least in my opinion).

First it's...
Jordan/Pippen 2.0

then
Kobe/Shaq 2.0

So we are pretty much set guys!

I think Ayton has a good chance to be better on defense than Joel Embiid ever could be. Ayton is a much, much better mover.
