Booker needs to shoot more 3's next season, and hopefully at a higher clip. Small sample size, but when Booker shot at least 8 3's this past season, Suns are 10-5; when Booker made at least 3 3's this past season, Suns are 17-5. Suns need Booker to spread the floor for others. Just wanted to point this out. :)

Does that chart go back further?

Pretty amazing to see Booker so far ahead of everyone.

Not sure if i'm reading that chart wrong, but NBA.com stats has Devin Booker's points per touch at 0.442, good for 7th in the NBA (of players who played more than 20 games).

https://stats.nba.com/players/touches/?Season=2019-20&SeasonType=Regular%20Season&sort=PTS_PER_TOUCH&dir=1

Maybe points 'produced' per touch counts assists as well?

How good are Booker's numbers going to be when he has 2, 3, 5, 10 years to focus on just playing basketball instead of carrying an entire team?

Well from that list, having the worst WS might have an effect on votes. It will be interesting to see a season with our core players playing way more games together, than what we had this last season.

well, everybody now knows he can be a winner. he was even voted #3 in terms of best players under 25 to build around

Well I think everyone knows he can score. For example, he scored 70 points on Boston, yet we still lost that game. I think he has better players around him now, and that WS% will increase, but I was just making the observation. And from that observation, I could see how that translated into less votes for him for All NBA squads.

Pretty crazy to think that going into his 6th year, this will be the first time he has had a 2nd year coach (and a decent one at that), 2 straight years of a good starting PG, good defensive wings, shooting and a forward who is a threat to score (hopefully) in Ayton.

Just picked a random mid season starting lineup off BRef from the last 5 years to illustrate. Continuity and quality teammates should hopefully have a big impact next year, on Booker and the team.

19-20 - D. Ayton · D. Booker · M. Bridges · K. Oubre · R. Rubio
18-19 - D. Ayton · D. Booker · M. Bridges · D. Melton · T. Warren
17-18 - D. Booker · T. Chandler · M. Chriss · T. Ulis · T. Warren
16-17 - E. Bledsoe · D. Booker · M. Chriss · A. Len · T. Warren
15-16 - D. Booker · T. Chandler · A. Goodwin · M. Morris · P. Tucker
