He had to wait until Ayton put up 21 and 12 in Summer League, but I’ll take it.

great offseason. Got the #1 pick, signed Igor, added Ayton, Bridges and Okobo in the draft, booker extension, kept long term cap flexability

So no news on whether there is a player option in final year? I assume there is...if not, fantastic.

As a grown ass man it feels weird to have an irrational love for Devin Booker. I don’t care though.

Long live Devin in Phoenix

pretty much. The 90 days between the end of the season and July 15 basically was a key time for this franchise. It seems by all accounts, the head coach was a darn good hire. Also, the draft with the guys you mention - and the two way guys, King and Peters, never know. Free agency with Ariza keeping long term cap. Today Booker deal got done. Who knows if Ryan has any more moves but I am guessing he is waiting to see if Milos Teodosic is released and probably - Tyson Chandler - what to do with Tyson.

I assume since it's not being reported as having an opt out it doesn't. Seems like something the agent would get out there.

Old article but I hadn't seen it so it's new to me.

“He blocked Gary Payton’s son’s shot and then Josh looked at him. That’s what set Gary off. That’s just Josh. Dude is having fun,” said Hillcrest Hoops Prep Academy rising senior center DeAndre Ayton, who plays with Payton’s son, Julian.

this is why I have faith on Josh Jackson...

he has fire, he WANTS to go against the best players on the other team and guard them and then he wants to take them on and score on them... thats what I love him as a player!

Can't teach that. And I still believe with his passion and work ethic, he will be an amazing player both ends when he's 25, because he's already amazing in lots of moments every game.... he just needs to be more efficient and make better decision and of course continue to practice that shot.

100% agree. His fire, attitude and grit are amazing and severely needed on this team. I feel like he's our version of Draymond Green. Warriors are a bunch of nice guys, then you got Draymond.

EDIT: Not sure how that happened but had to fix it

I will get a lot of hate here, I just don’t love Jackson.

Trade josh Jackson, Knight, Chriss, fillers (maybe a 1st)
For
Lillard

Lillard
Booker
Bridges
Ariza
Ayton

That is a team that could be top 4 In west

If Josh Jackson's shot can never be fixed instead of wasting time trying to improve something that is beyond repair why not just play him at the 1 and develop him as a Lonzo or Simmons like big point.

because both guys you mentioned are elite passers of the basketball and have great court vision and Jackson is neither of those. he is ok at each but no where near their level or will ever be just not his game. he is all hustle and athleticism needs to improve his shot and decision making and he will be a solid starter for years. dont think he is an all star level player but a solid nba player. now if his shot improves dramatically that can change.
