Re: The 2018 Fantasy Thread
What was going on with the world last night?
Conley and Rubio shooting .500 for FT%. My C shooting <400 for FG%.. My 3 other bigs combining for less than 10 boards. But having same assists as my guards.
Is this Twilight Zone?

It must be. Went to go set my line-ups today and noticed that my name was "Hidden". Clicked on the managers list and all the managers are now hidden. Went to my other league and its the same there. Something happened as its never been like that before. Yahoo has a f**k up somewhere.

Of course i was logged in, otherwise it wouldnt have given me access to both of my teams.
But yeah, its fixed now. Only reason i noticed it was when i went to set my line-up i saw under my team name it said hidden. So i thought maybe something happened to my account, but when i checked the Managers tab everybody's was hidden. Just a glitch in the matrix i suppose.....

Well the reason I thought maybe you were logged out was I imagine that's what it would look like if you were not logged in. Like if for some reason you left a tab open on your laptop with your lineups/teams and then on another tab you had logged out of yahoo or something and then closed that tab and refreshed the other one later.
I haven't noticed that though.

I have, in Dynasty.
Dejounte Murray, out for year
Will Barton (72.5% TS%) out for at least 5 weeks
Caris Levert. Out for at least most of year
Westbrook, been out for 5 games.
I thought I could win this year, but not with those guys out
In Premier my team is stacked, but Payton has been out and now Lavine. I have too many players in that league that I like to play, but that's not really a bad thing given I'm likely to face some injuries and stars could rest down the stretch. I need to not get ahead too much so I can play Towns, DeRozan, Holiday and Ibaka in every game. And maybe Lavine.

I'd be cool with adding a extra IR spot or two in the dynasty next season.

One for sure.
Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

That trade in dynasty is far too lopsided to be approved.

I proposed it. I'm happy to write out a 15 page essay on why it isn't lopsided if need be.

Re: The 2018 Fantasy Thread
Klay:
Age 28 (turns 29 in February)
Contract status: UFA after this season
Current season rank: 55
Upside: If Klay leaves the Dubs after this season he may end up becoming an even bigger offensive focal point. Perhaps end up with a usage rate in the 30s. His FG% has decreased this season so it is possible this returns to the mean. His upside is really that he fits into any team and is as reliable as they come.
Downside: Can he buck the downward trend? His 8 cat value has declined in every season since 2014-15.
Montrezl:
Age 24 (turns 25 in January)
Contract status: on the QO
Current season rank: 42
Upside: He's 5th in PER, 1st in WS/48. Obviously that means nothing from a fantasy perspective but it does mean he's going to get playing time. He is producing off the bench at this rate and could perhaps do even more as a starter. 25.3mpg is a very sustainable number and the per-36 #s show he's a production beast. Still young.
Downside: Absolutely no track record. These 18 games are all we have to go on. Potentially disappears after this season.
My personal take on the trade: I'd rather have Montrezl than Klay if this was a single season league. Montrezl has been better. Klay's %s aren't what they used to be. I'm taking the risk on long term value (which I could very well lose) getting a younger player who has the room to improve even more. I don't see that room to improve in Klay.
The other 14.8 pages will come later

I mean you were the one that proposed it in the first place.... We can hash it out over messages if you really want Montrezl that bad.

Yeah all good, the message was directed at the vetoers. We will discuss.

You need to give up more than Klay to get Montrezl Harrell.
I am totally unbiased and am totally not looking at your team as one that can prevent me from grabbing 1st place along with Qwigglez, WeekapaugGroove and Wordsenuff
