I would like to try a game with Booker, Bridges, Ariza, Warren, Ayton starting.

For now Canaan, Booker, Warren, Ariza, Ayton

But Bridges needs to play 30 mpg no question.

The issue with starting Bridges is you're sitting either TJ or starting Booker at PG, neither of which are things I want to see right now.

I put Canaan, Booker, Bridges, Warren, Ayton. Though obviously Ariza will start, so I'm fine with either Bridges or Warren coming off bench. Ariza trade in future for PG would leave this lineup and upgrade PG hopefully though.

Also choose Canaan, Booker, Bridges, Warren, Ayton but wouldn't hate it with Ariza in strating 5 and TJ as bench scorer as long as he gets his minutes.

I'd like to see

Booker
Jackson
Bridges
Ariza
Ayton

Put JJ on the other PG and basically run point Book. JJ grabs a lot of rebounds so can take off and initiate the offence when he gets a chance too. I think playing with the starters would give him some confidence and he can be more effective as the 5th option essentially.

Bridges just fits like a glove, he needs to start, now.

And get Ayton 15 shots a game, minimum.

You want these two guys intiating the offense?

I like Canaan a lot so I have no problem with him starting.

Canaan - Booker - Bridges - Warren - Ayton should be tried at some point. I'm fine with Ariza though.

Is Josh Jackson's mother a poster here?

I still think Booker, Jackson, Ariza, Anderson, and Ayton should be our starting lineup (currently our 2nd best lineup with 8 minutes of court time over 4 games). Canaan, Bridges, Warren and Holmes off the bench seems pretty good and allows us to leave Booker, Jackson, Ariza or Anderson on the floor, depending on match ups or who has the hot hand.

Edit: Another interesting note: Okobo, Daniels, Bridges, Warren, and Holmes is rated 3rd with 4 minutes in 1 game. Might be worth a look as a 5 in 5 out bench squad.

Canaan, Booker, Ariza, Warren and Ayton.

With Bridges as a 6th man playing 25-30 mpg.

People are still talking Point Book? People are still talking JJ at the one? Gosh I thought we had gotten over all that silly nonsense.

Re: Bridges, I am not ready to start him. He is good enough. Its just, we need his calm and stability for the second unit. I love him off the bench. Let him compete (no way he can win it. But he can get in the mix) for sixth man of the year as a rookie. He is good enough for that perhaps.

This is a good lineup. My only hesitation is I think Canaan has been better off the bench than starting. He has, overall, been better than Okobo. But he has played better off the bench compared to when he starts.
And then TJ... I don't know. I like him starting and I like him off the bench. I might leave him in the second unit for now. Maybe start him the second half. I think I'd start JJ instead, but I'm on the fence.

I approve. My only question is Anderson. I like his demeanor and decision making. He has played within our system. But his individual productivity has been awful (have not reviewed his stats. Just from the eye test).

EDIT: Oh wait you're starting Book at the 1!? I retract my approval. x10. If Book starts at the 1 I will seriously have a hard time staying enthused. That would be terrible.

I chose:
Okobo, Booker, JJ, Ariza, Ayton

Probably too small. It's actually a really hard question for me to hone in on a single answer I feel good about. I do not envy Koko.

    1. Canaan: Has been the most consistent out of our PGs so far... which is basically like being the thinnest kid at fat camp (not much of an achievement).
    2. Booker: I personally feel like he's a better option here than Josh Jackson and Troy Daniels
    3. Bridges : Is starting to look like the perfect compliment next to Booker and Ayton. Will look better playing with the first unit than the second unit too IMO since his ceiling is being an elite role player. Like wise, I prefer TJ Warren coming off the bench because I think he fits better as a 6th man scorer.
    4. Ariza: I've said this before but I don't see why the Celtics can get away with playing Tatum at the PF - we can play with Ariza at the 4 spot. They're currently pretty much the same size.
    5. Ayton: I realize that we have better options at the center position but Ayton happens to be a beautiful man and the eye wants something as well.
