Game 14 : Spurs (7-5) @ Suns (2-11), 7:00pm

Early game thread to try to change anything (at least in our **** minds :D ).

The Spurs have lost three of their last four games, losing to the Magic, Kings and Heat.

They are gonna rest Rudy Gay, and White is out for the game too.

We CAN win this game, but our starting five need to change their mindset and start the game like their lives are in serious dangerous.

GO SUNS!

Strange they lost those three but beat Houston and New Orleans bad. Aldridge dominated Ayton last game. Not a good matchup for him. The Orlando and Miami bigs played him pretty well...especially Miami...Whiteside had 9 blocks and 20 rebounds while Aldridge shot 2-14.

We really need Ariza to lock down DeRozan. Or Bridges.

I'll probably save myself the heartache and just watch the Butler Philly debut.

We'll get through this. It'll be over before we even realize.

I understand why Koko's been so measured and gradual in making changes to his rotation... Ariza will continue to start until he's traded. Mikal will just have to wait. I'm cool with that. But when it comes to the PG position...

I would like to see Jamal Crawford get the start tonight as a primary ballhandler. I understand that the season is long, and once you make certain changes (like removing Canaan from the SL), it's hard to go back. In fact, I'm not sure I would keep Canaan on the roster if he's relegated to a backup role. At this point, I might even rather even Melton handle those minutes.

... And why would I rather Melton handle those minutes, you ask? Why, because he likes to dribble! Someone on this team other than Booker needs to dribble the **** ball!!! No more Point Book pls! Give me Jamal Crawford!! Just end it!!!

Melton averaged 5 turnovers per game in the g league to his 5.8 assists...so he may really struggle with turnovers with even tougher defenders on him.

I expect 20 points from Bridges. Shooting 7-11 from the field. 6 steals also. That or bust.

It is gonna be tough because we need Ariza, we do not have enough depth with him out.

Suns losing by less than 30 is a win. Ayton better have some KY and painkillers stocked up for the a*al abuses he is going to receive from Aldridge

No. Ayton is going to come out aggressive and channel his inner Kevin Garnett. We are going to win by 4, 112-108. Book it!

Ayton will get abused just like the last game against the spurs. The bright side is by taking up the a** every night Ayton's behind will be so stretched out by the time he faces embiid that he probably won't feel much pain when Embiid drops 60s on him.

Ehhhhh this just means more JJ minutes....Spurs are the type of team that even if they aren't as talented as they used to be, exploiting a guy like JJ is still in their DNA and it's something they can do with their eyes closed.

You sure are focused on the homoeroticism.

Ayton is the one who enjoys being used by other NBA centers night in night out, don't shoot the messenger.

If the abuses were not consensual it is up to Ayton to thunderously say no with his hustle and defense. not resisting by playing with great defense means he consents and enjoys the nightly abuses.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Ariza’s “personal reasons” keep him out all the way till December 15th.

Yeah, our depth is extremely thin now. We will have to play Jackson more than we should. I would almost consider putting Bender in instead just to spread the floor and play D. With Jackson I worry about too many mistakes, but maybe he will bring it tonight after not getting too many minutes.

Anderson will probably get some minutes. Maybe even Daniels.

But hopefully Warren, Booker and Bridges each play close to 40 minutes.
