I hope they play hard but other than that it's hard to expect much tonight.

Realistic look at their rotation with Booker and Warren out:
4 rookies and rookies are by their very nature inconsistent and make mistakes
Jackson who plays like a rookie and is one of the 5 worst offensive players in the whole NBA
Ariza - actual NBA player but whether or not he will actually try after about the 5 minute mark is questionable
Crawford might get hot for a few minutes but he's an old man
Holmes - tries hard and useful NBA player but is like a 9th-10th man type on a real team
Anderson - completely washed and currently doesn't do anything well

You can't look at that and reasonably expect to beat any team.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Can't imagine this game as anything but a double digit loss.

Blazer's defensive weakness is guard penetration and their porous backcourt. The Suns have no one to take advantage of that. Blazers will focus on Ayton and Suns will struggle to break 100 with some truly awful shooting I am sure. Have no idea how Ayton will do. Only hope is Ayton find somehow to be productive and the team just shoot lights out.

Lillard with absolutely murder this team PNR defense. Praying that Melton/Mikal can contained him.

Yeah, stick Melton on Lillard. I don't know if Igor will start him immediately, but I'm sure he will play both rooks a bit....Mikal can hopefully guard him...or Jackson who is decent on PGs when Elie is in there.

Would be very nice if TJ played.

We just have to stop Jake Layman who somehow destroyed us last game.

I don't understand why he does this and doesn't just rest and get fully healthy.

While I favor Melton over Okobo obvi, I also think it's generally a good idea to alter the SL as little as possible on a game-to-game basis. That said, wouldn't be surprised if this is the last game Melton comes off the bench for us for a long time.

You expect him to start tomorrow then and to move Booker off point when he comes back? Who do you take out of the starting lineup when everyone comes back between Book/Bridges/Ariza/TJ/Ayton?

And if we trade Ariza I imagine it is for a starting caliber PG. Do you think they start Melton over Bridges or Warren if we get a PG? Melton to play 3?

I mean, I'm being a little hyperbolic. Even lawyers aren't as literal as you sometimes are.

I think someone needs to change the starting line-up in the first post......

Wow, Holmes starting! Great move! Of course they said he is not feeling well but will try and play.

Holmes getting pulled early is fine...Ayton looked really engaged on defense when he got in despite that shot going in.

Looks like we are the only 3 Suns fans left on here. Good thing RealGM is paying us!

The lack of talent is clear as day. Blazers aren't even playing well right now and have a 13 point lead.

Can we just forfeit the entire season?

Return to Phoenix Suns
