I hope you guys are aware that the Suns will win tonight. 8-)

Mavs went into the game with the Hawks, with dead legs and low energy and that won't change against the Suns. They barely made it out alive. And they are missing Barea plus DSJ ( two important PGs), it's going to be too much.
Suns love uptempo offense, something Mavs struggle with on the road. DJ can't guard Ayton, so i expect another double double from him. If TJ+Melton have decent nights, it's game over for the Mavs. Also, i have a feeling Jackson will have a career night against Barnes, who can't guard even his own shadow these days...
The biggest X-factor is Doncic's jumpshot. If he continues with his slump, Suns by 10-15.

Ayton will probably be fired up too. But so will Doncic. And then the Nova guys going against each other. Does this mean Brunson starts?

That's a good question. Mavs have no backup PG and RC did start Luka alone on PG before so maybe he will save Brunson as the 6th guy. Unless Barea makes an unexpected return and actually plays. My guess would be, if Barea is out, DFS starts and Brunson off the bench. But otherwise past few games, Brunson+Luka combo turned out to be really good.

And well, Doncic is always fired up, but his jumpshot is killing him lately and Mavs just suck on the road.

Well done video, BTW - simple and right to the point.

And, from my own YouTube channel, with all due respect to his brilliant NBA career, I'll gladly be chanting the following as Dirk Nowitski plays his last game in Phoenix:

They usually don't hype and promote a lot of players on teams that are 4-24.

Yet when you search their #NBAROOKS you will come across threads for Tre Young left and right (Not as much as Doncic though). Hawks arnt all that much better. Im just saying you would think they would try to pump this televised game up as Ayton vs. Doncic, yet all they pumped up was Doncic. Hell, i was coming across threads they did for Knox up in New York. I scrolled for a solid 5 minutes and finally gave up after coming across ZERO threads by the NBA account saying or showing anything from Ayton.

Doncic doesnt even have to play and they will give him highlights. Look at him dance! Look at him cheer from the bench! Did you see that smile he flashed warming up pre-game? God his laughter while waiting to check in is so infectious! Its almost like the NBA (Since this is their official account) want Doncic to be that ROY Golden Boy that the Twitter-verse said he would be prior to the draft and are pushing him every chance they get, while no matter what Ayton does they wont post any highlights whatsoever.

I was at that game in San Antonio when Nash was hip checked...good seats....was so pumped but then on a ride after the game listening to post game it was ruined by them talking about a likely suspension.

You have to wonder if Sarver really cost us that series with all his complaining to officials and them not liking him and Donaghy's claims.

Ayton needs to play his best ball of the season tonight. Show the league what he's capable of.

I scrolled too and saw they did a Bamba one earlier. Doncic is the one with all the buzz after single handedly taking over and winning a game and stuff so it's probably smart for them to market him. Plus he's flashy and exciting as opposed to a lumbering center who is fairly passive on the worst team.

But they should still do one for him.

I've thought that too. It was David Stern's call and his disdain for Sarver was obvious

I wouldn't doubt it a bit - then again, says a hell of a lot of something about f-ing Stern & Co. that they inject personal feelings and emotion into an official decision, wouldn't you think?

See my reply to 'bwgood77' - so damned glad Stern (as well as Stu Jackson) is gone.....

I am expecting that he will have a great game, DJ can be very lazy on defense. Also Josh Jackson is another guy who could explode today. A lot of exciting things to think about that can go in Suns favor.

Look, i never advocate for a player injury.....but you know....if Ayton DOES decide to step up and give a hard foul or two.....to a certain player.....i would be more than willing to turn a blind eye to it......in this occasion. #ImJustSayin #DontHateMe #iSpeakethTheTruth
