Another game, another loss. No one (player , coach, office, owner) associated with the Suns knows what it takes to win in this league.

Booker halfway through his 4th year and TJ his fifth leading the way to another historically terrible season.

How stupid is this. They fight for 47 minutes and 59 seconds and then they lose. Seriously great effort on defense tonight but perimeter players just couldn't shut down Rose in the 2nd half. Wish Bender would have hit a couple of 3 pointers towards the end but can't blame him, he played insanely good D on KAT. Just Booker with some bad decisions at the end... oh well.

This has been a forgetful season. Don’t remember many games where I enjoyed watching them play, even when they’re winning. I just wish it was July already.

I remember championing for trading for Rose earlier in the season and people were saying Crawford’s better lol.

Derrick Rose is a baller man and would’ve been a huge addition if we somehow got him.

He wouldn't have wanted to sign with us.

It was a good game. The results in a rebuilding season is secondary to progress. We're making progress

I really do think we're one piece (PG) away from being consistently competitive. Right now we're close in a few games then getting blown out in most others. The problem is that we're not close enough consistently for our guys to learn regularly how to win in those clutch situations.

It's kind of like trying to learn to do something well but you don't get to practice it often. It makes learning difficult

That's the only way to learn. I'm glad that coach is giving him these important opportunities to make a difference with his defense in these situations. Whether he's successful or not, it's still great experience. Rose hit a tough fade away and in the Toronto game, Siakam hit an even tougher one. Bridges is doing his job out there even when it's damn hard to play D in this era when refs call everything

Really can’t ask for better defense. It’s just been better offense.

LOL..you do know this is Oubre's 4th year right? Marion in his 4th year averaged 21/9.5/2.4 ast/2.3 stl/1.2 blk

Marion was a legit top notch defender.

first Oubre is only a year older. Second, no one has down played how much Doncic is ahead of Ayton for the benefit of having been pro for years, or excused Ayton being behind Doncic for that same reason then why should I give Mikal that benefit?

Exactly. It's so hard to defend without fouling and in both games, he forced the offensive player into a tough shot and importantly, didn't send the guy on a free trip to the line. Just play good straight up D and hope the other player doesn't hit a tough shot.

I wasn't even talking about MIkal...I was laughing at your comparison of Oubre to Marion.

Bridges is a better defender and fundamental better basketball player than Oubre already. He has a role as a starter that he peforms well. Oubre is playing an energy role off the bench. Bridges is the better defender and passer and long term is probably the better shooter. And he's on a rookie contract for the next few years.

If a child was born the last time Suns made the playoffs the Child would be 9 this year, it sounds much scary and depressing if you think about it this way. How many decades does a person get to live, and it has been almost a decade since the suns were good.

I think Bridges is a lot closer to a rich man's Raja/Tayshaun than Oubre is to JJ (so many JJ's...) or anything resembling Marion.
